<div>The friends of the Roberts family have created this fundraiser. Keely Roberts and her 8-year-old son, Cooper, were significantly impacted by the tragic events of the Fourth of July parade in Highland Park, Illinois. Cooper’s brother Luke was also present, witnessed both of those injuries, and suffered emotional trauma that day. Cooper’s spinal cord was severed, and he is paralyzed from the waist down. After undergoing many surgeries, suffering complications, and spending weeks in the hospital and rehabilitation, he is now home where he continues to work with doctors, nurses, and rehabilitation experts on his healing and progress. Cooper continues to fight as hard as he can. We know the family’s medical bills will be significant, as will the treatments, therapy, and all of the equipment, devices, and needs in their home. Please continue to keep the Roberts family in your thoughts and prayers. Any help you can provide is deeply appreciated.

The Cooper Roberts Family Fundraiser

My youngest brother Kevin Marcos and Kristen Kussy wife lost their baby daughter on Sunday 6/27. Her lost was unexpected. Katalina Marcos was born on 6/18 she was only 9 days old. She was a beautiful little angel who is now in heaven. Anything will help and be greatly appreciated.</span><br />

Funeral Expenses for Baby Katalina

First of all, I want to say thank you for all the love, prayers, and support that you have given me and my family. We can’t thank you enough for all being here for us.<br /><br />On August 11, 2020, my wife, 36 weeks pregnant with our first baby girl, and I were walking when we notice a white SUV lose control and hop on the sidewalk where we were walking. The vehicle was coming straight at us with a velocity that gave us no time to react. That moment changed my whole life. I saw my wife get trampled by the vehicle while I held her hand. I tried my best to save her but it felt like a nightmare, waiting to wake up. Ambulance arrived and took her to UCI.<br /><br />Due to COVID, I was not able to go with her. Once I made it to the hospital, I found out my wife did not make it but my daughter survived. I couldn’t believe it. Seeing my daughter in the NICU, broke me but I realize that I’m all she has. She fought for her life and that taught me to fight for mine. That moment I made sure that I will give her the best life possible.<br /><br />My daughter is now home with me and healthy. She’s growing so quickly and it’s been a blessing. Even though I have the support from family and friends, I had to quit my full time job in order to take care of her. <br /><br />This fundraiser is for my daughter’s future. All your donations are going straight to her college fund so she accomplish anything in this world. She deserves everything in this world because she’s a living miracle. Thank you again for all your love and support. God bless!
