Hi, I'm Lucca, and I'm raising funds to help my partner Shiphrah who recently got a nasty pharmacy bill ($1000+) that wiped out her savings. Shiphrah is disabled and on fixed income (disability). She recently got some money back on taxes, but just lost it all to a surprise pharmacy bill where her inhalers that were previously covered suddenly aren't anymore! She cannot even afford the basics of new clothes, dietary-safe food, and her regular regimen of medicine. I already help her quite a bit with food and essential new clothes, but I can't cover this medical bill on my own either. This fundraiser is to offset the cost of her meds and this expensive bill, while we figure out how to address this price surge and get her the care she needs reliably. We're not sure what the answer is right now, but we're talking to health ministers to see what our options are. All of this takes time, and any contribution that can help offset the horrible morale blow of this will help us stay on task fixing this issue (somehow) and not spiralling. The goal is set to $1500 so we can afford this bill and buy ourselves some time to figure out how to pay for the next ones. Hi, I'm Lucca, aka SpookaLucca, and I'm asking for help from those who can spare it right now. I'm a trans woman, and have been having a hard time finding full-time work. I'm going to be going to a professional conference in my field at the end of March, and also job hunting heavily over the next few months. It's been over 2 years since I've had stable employment, and I haven't had money for anything other than essentials (rent, food, and medicine) for that time. I need help affording a hair cut + colour (like what is pictured above), business-appropriate attire, and other essentials for making a good impression. The odds are stacked against me as a trans woman and if I don't find stable employment soon I could end up homeless.
