<div>On Wednesday, August 19th, We will be<strong> officially launching the The Next Chapter - THE MIXED ROOTS ACADEMY </strong>in my <strong>home state of Minnesota</strong> with <strong>my Hometown</strong> <strong>Owatonna High School that will serve as the Founding High School partner </strong>with our <strong>Inaugural Partnership with the MLS MN United FC. Mixed Roots Academy will serve as the New Flagship Program of Mixed Roots Foundation</strong> that will Ultimately expand to our other <strong>MLS Team Cities of Minneapolis (MN United FC), Los Angeles (LAFC), San Francisco (SJ Earthquakes), and New York (NYCFC) in 2027.</strong>

<div><strong>The Mixed Roots Academy </strong>will continue to recognize and grow the <strong>Mixed Roots Scholars in their Junior and Senior years at the Owatonna High School with educational scholarships</strong> and will ultimately<strong> expand to our other Team Cities that in which have been administering since 2022.</strong>

<div><strong>The Mixed Roots Academy </strong>will serve as a <strong>Philanthropic platform</strong> to <strong>Create Educational and Career Pathways and Connections for the next generation of Multicultural, Adopted and Foster Youth and Their Families </strong>through the<strong> 4 Pillars of Impact: Entrepreneurship | Arts | Education | Philanthropy</strong>.

<div>As we kick off to a <strong><em>NEW LUNAR NEW YEAR 2025</em></strong>, It has been quite the <strong><em>JOURNEY</em> </strong>for even just the beginning of January 2025 as we had to endure the tragic <strong>DISASTERS </strong>in <strong>SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA</strong> on top of the the past few years including experiencing the devastating <strong>PANDEMIC</strong>, but most personally the unexpected and very painful loss of my oldest Brother, <strong><em>ALEX MATTHEW PETTMAN</em></strong> to *<strong>MENTAL ILLNESS / SUICIDE </strong>(October 2021) and my beloved Father, <strong><em>MARK CARL PETTMAN</em> </strong>whom at the time was going to <strong>CELEBRATE 22</strong> Years with his **<strong>HEART TRANSPLANT from MAYO CLINIC </strong>(April 2001), but unfortunately My Dad lost his <strong>BATTLE</strong> to **<strong>PROSTATE CANCER </strong>this past year in (February) 2023.
