She moved to Houston in 2021, leaving behind her only family—her beloved mother, Anita, in Nepal. Muna was Anita’s only child, and the two shared an unbreakable bond.</strong>

Her mother, who had been desperately trying to reach her, was met with the devastating news that no parent should ever have to hear. However, the pain of this loss is immeasurable, and her mother, Anita, is left shattered and alone in Nepal, unable to be with her daughter in her final moments.</strong>

Help Narayan Return Home in Tragedy

Just over a year ago, my son Ethan, a lively and vibrant 12-year-old boy, was enjoying school, playing with his friends, and living the carefree life of a pre-teen. His smile could light up a room, and his laughter was contagious. But everything changed when he started experiencing hearing problems and a high fever that landed him in a hospital.

<div>After a series of tests, including a CT scan that revealed swelling in his brain, our world was turned upside down. Ethan was transferred to Cohen Children's Hospital in New York, where he received a diagnosis no parent should ever have to hear: X-linked Adrenoleukodystrophy, cerebral type (X-ALD). This devastating condition is incredibly aggressive, leading to rapid deterioration of motor skills, speech, vision, and eventually death.

<div>Ethan was referred to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for treatment, but his disease was found to be too advanced for the available therapies. Despite this heartbreaking news, I vowed to do everything I could to give Ethan the best quality of life possible in the time he has left.

<div>In the past year, Ethan's condition has worsened dramatically. He has lost his hearing, and vision, and in the past six months his health has deteriorated rapidly. After a series of seizures he was hospitalized, and can no longer eat by mouth,  walk or talk. His medical team has informed us that eventually Ethan will face respiratory issues, and will need support to breathe.

Bone Marrow Transplant Fundraiser for Basu Ghimire

<div>Hi, My name is Hemant Jha. I live in Dallas with my wife and three young kids. I am reaching out on behalf of my wife's younger brother, Mr. Dipesh Jha from Janakpur, Nepal who lost his life on the hospital bed on October 31st 2023.

<div>Dipesh was only 32 years old and he was waiting for a liver transplant at the Indian Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences in New Delhi.

<div>After his initial diagnosis of the disease in Kathmandu which was related to a chronic jaundice, Dipesh was referred to Delhi where his health deteriorated due to complications posed by a long and painful wait for organ transpalnt formalities between the two countries.

<div>As destiny had its own cruel plans, he passed away on the early morning of the very day he was scheduled for the liver transplant. 
</div>

<div>During the course above, Dipesh incurred massive amount of debt.Dipesh did not have savings or a stable job for the last 3 years due to his health situations. Now his wife who is a homemaker and his elderly parents have to pay back the debt alongside bringing up the two young kids age 7 and 3.

<div>Hi! My name is Biplav Jha. I am reaching out to you from Albany Medical Center. The reason I am starting this gofundme campaign is to prolong my life span from 2 years to next 20-25 years. I had to travel to many countries due to work. When I came back from my trip from South American Countries, I felt unwell, I thought it was only fatigue. I had to come to Albany for an interview and I started feeling dizzy. My cousin took me to the hospital for diagnosis. I had massive internal bleeding and the blood was rushing through my liver which couldn't handle such a rush of blood flow.  I was also told by the doctors that my liver has been scarred (Psoriasis) and if the medication doesn't work then will have to have a surgery for liver transplant. After 2 days of blood transfusion, multiple MRI's and Ultrasound, there hasn't been much improvement. I am actively looking for a donor and I may have found a potential one in India. All or nny funds raised will go into a trust and only be disposed during my surgery. So I would like to appeal to you all to donate as much or whatever you can and also share my story with your friends. My daughter will be 10 next month. Once I walk her down the isle, I will consider my life to be complete.

<p>On September 16, 2020, Parvati Bhusal, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Triple Negative Breast Cancer; one of the more aggressive kinds of cancer. She was born and raised in a remote part of Nepal and until her trip to Minnesota that has been her home where she  lives with her youngest daughter.<br /><br />When the word “Cancer” dropped on her ears, her eyes could not hold back tears. She was scared. She received her first chemo treatment  on September 25, 2020, in Kathmandu. They started with all three medicines, so the consequent side effects were high. Parvati managed to show her strength and  overcame  these initial side effects. Nepal has good health care but lacks in terms of advanced testing and research in the type of cancer she is fighting.<br /><br />Dev CK, her son, brought Parvati to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, on November 10, 2020, after three chemo treatments in Kathmandu.  Effective treatment depends on getting the right diagnosis and advanced testing as soon as possible. Dev and Parvati chose Mayo and came so far from her country because Mayo evaluates conditions from every angle and develops a diagnosis and treatment plan. Their scientific discoveries reach their patients first to benefit from breakthrough therapies, advanced technologies, and clinical research trials. Mayo has one of the best healthcare in the world, but the cost for tests, treatment,  doctor consults is very high. 
</p>

<p>Her only dream is to continue to be with her children ; Dev,  Anshika  and Shampa. She loves life and she is sure life loves her too. The ups and downs of life never stop her loving it more.  Her father used to say, “When you live you see the beauty of mother nature one more day.”  Parvati enjoys walking, meeting new people, working in her small kitchen garden, laughing, visiting. In short, she values every day.<br /><br />Parvati does not have insurance so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.    We are hoping to raise $75,000 to help with treatment.

Medical Expenses for Parvati Bhusal

Our dear friend Umanga  Shrestha of Mount Prospect, IL, was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer last year in February 2019.  For the past 12 months, Umanga and his family have been bravely fighting this battle with little improvement.  He has gone through open surgery and is currently going through Chemotherapy.<br /><br />But last Saturday things changed suddenly, his body temperature spiked up to 107 with Blood Pressure dropping down to 70/50 and very low Hemoglobin. He was rushed into ICU by paramedics to a nearby hospital in Glenview, IL,  and his condition remains critical.<br /><br />Since February of 2019 Umanga has spent multiple nights in the hospital and has not been to work since then.  His wife Sushma has supported the family financially and emotionally along with taking care of their 7-year-old daughter, Grace.<br /><br />The family has been planning to take him to  Memorial Sloan Cancer Center Hospital in New York for further treatment. <br /><br />Umanga is determined to beat this cancer and be there to raise his daughter.  We believe in his strength and ability to do this, despite of the odds. Few days ago he was admitted in MICU of Lahey Hospital and Medical Center at Burlington, Massachusetts after a seizure and severe head injury at his residence. The Medical Team could not save Himal despite all the life supports. Funeral and Memorial Cost for late Himal Timalsina

Dear all, MAA (Madheshi Association in America) is raising funds for the family whose head of the family Mr. Raj Mani Chowdhary demised due to the brain haemorrhage on February 6th 2017 in Plano hospital, Texas, USA. He has 2 kids (one goes to 7 grade &amp; another goes to 9 grades). His wife doesn't even speak English properly neither drive the car. <br /><br /> Mr. Chaudhary was in age between 35-40 years old and was working at store in night shift. Almost 13-14 days back, he was returning from the work, he felt that something wrong with his head so he stopped his car side on highway and fainted after stopping car. One guy saw him raising the hand for help before he fainted and the gentleman called 911. The emergency medical response service transported Mr R. M. Chowdhary to hospital by helicopter. After critical examination the hospital reported that he had brain haemorrhage almost less percentage chance of saving his life.
