<div>Nisala Foundation is a donation-based meditation centre in Sri Lanka, dedicated to supporting people who are seeking inner peace, emotional healing, stress relief, and spiritual growth.

<div>For many years, Nisala has been a quiet refuge in the peaceful mountains of Sri Lanka. People from different backgrounds — local practitioners, professionals, families, young people, and international visitors — come to Nisala to step away from the pressure of daily life and experience meditation, silence, and inner reflection.

<div>Through Acharin’s direct pointing-out guidance, meditation practices, and a supportive retreat environment, many sincere seekers come here hoping to find clarity, calmness, emotional balance, and deeper inner change.

<div>At Nisala, our retreats and meditation programs are offered on a donation basis. This allows people to receive support without being excluded because of financial difficulty.

<div>But today, we are facing a very real and urgent challenge.

<div>Our current meditation hall can accommodate only around 50 people at a time.

<div>Every month, more people apply to join our retreats and programs. Sadly, many sincere applicants have to be turned away simply because we do not have enough space.

<div>Our vision is to expand the meditation hall so that Nisala can welcome up to 150 meditators at a time.
