<div><strong>Michael</strong>, at 41 years old, has faced significant challenges after undergoing multiple brain surgeries in January 2025 to remove a pituitary adenoma. These surgeries have taken a toll on nearly every organ in his body, resulting in a long and complex recovery process. He has lost vision in his right eye and struggles with significant short term memory loss. In addition to seeing countless specialists, undergoing follow up tests and dealing with ongoing procedures, his recovery care has been overwhelming. After spending a month in Albany, he was finally able to come home, but a few major setbacks extended his stay an additional three weeks.

<div>“She has Leukemia".. words that are still ringing in my ears. Nothing in my life could have prepared me for the shock and searing pain of that moment. Finding out that my sweet, happy, energetic niece Ellie of only TWO years of age has cancer.

<div>On March 6, 2023 Ellie woke up with some mild swelling on her face that got progressively worse. My brother Armin and sister-in-law Gjineta rushed her to the doctor, fearing an allergic reaction, not knowing that something far worse was behind the swelling. They waited for hours for the lab results to come back as they helplessly watched her little eyes swell shut.

<div>Her blood cell counts were super low and the doctor sent them an hour away for bone marrow testing. They were escorted to the pediatric oncology unit, and we all prayed with every part of our being that this was all just a mistake but it wasn't. In matter of 6 days, our Ellie Bellie went from a healthy toddler with a history of rare mild colds to being diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, having a permanent port placed and her first chemo treatment.

<div>The shock of the last few days has reverberated through our entire family. Time feels like it has stopped and we are just aimlessly going through the motions of life. We go from unimaginable pain to numbness... repeatedly moving through the grief cycle. None of us can reach acceptance, because it's impossible to accept our little Ellie has to shoulder the burden of Leukemia on her tiny little frame. We are stuck in endless grief. No one is feeling this pain more than Armin and Gjineta.

<div>As for Ellie, she's already starting to lose some of the innocence she had prior to this diagnosis. At 2 years old, she's starting to understand that the hospital isn't a nice place and that the smiling nurses with kind eyes come to poke and prod her little body. Despite that, she is showing us how resilient her little spirit is. She smiles, plays, hugs and makes us laugh. She is a bright light in this darkness and she needs your help to keep shining.

<div>The treatment plan laid out for Ellie will be an extremely long and difficult process, spanning the next 2+ years of her life. Instead of playing outside with her brother, and learning things that other toddlers are learning at this age, Ellie will be spending her days undergoing treatments and fighting for her life. Her treatments will include chemotherapy, blood transfusions, spinal taps, medications and other procedures. She will also be immunocompromised for the majority of the time she is in treatment. Common viruses, bacteria and fungal infections that would not phase you or me are life-threatening to her.

<div>Over the past few days, the outpouring of love and support Gjineta and Armin have received has been heartwarming and humbling. Ellie has a long road ahead of her and it will be a difficult and costly battle for her parents.

<div>I set up this page to hopefully help alleviate some of their financial burdens during this heartbreaking time. <div>Hello, this is Alyssa Williams, I am writing on behalf of a very special family, and their little boy who is near and dear to my heart... Gavin Jerzak.  The Jerzak family needs our community support more than ever, as they start a VERY difficult journey to save Gavin's life.  Gavin was born with a rare liver disease called Biliary Atresia &amp; had a liver transplant at 17 months old.  Gavin is now 7 years old and is experiencing life-threatening complications throughout multiple systems in his body.  Due to many years of anti-rejection medications post-transplant, his immune system has become very weak. Making it difficult for him to fight off illness or disease of any kind.  He has developed a rare kidney disease called BK Virus, which is quickly killing his kidneys.   Despite a valiant effort from some of the best Doctors in the world, Gavin's body can not sustain itself any longer without intervention.   As a result, he needs to start Kidney Dialysis, undergo Chemotherapy, then a Bone Marrow Transplant AND a Kidney Transplant in order to save his life.  This is not without great risk &amp; much difficulty.

<div>They will be traveling 3 days a week, potentially more, to Albany Medical Center &amp; Boston Children’s Hospital for dialysis until he is eligible for a Kidney Transplant- which is estimated to be over a year from now.   Gavin's Doctors have told the family that he could be admitted to Boston Children’s Hospital for nearly 1 year.  To protect his compromised immune system, he will be required to be isolated once this process begins.   This will force the Jerzack family to be separated from one another &amp; apart from his sister Grace for extended periods of time.

<div>The financial burden on the Jerzack family will be immense.   We ask you to support this amazing local family as they embark on another incredibly difficult journey. <p>Hello Everyone! I am  starting this fundraiser in behalf of my beautiful friend Alyssa (Desimone) Williams. As many of you may already know or for those who do not…..Alyssa was recently diagnosed with mucoepidermoid carcinoma (MEC) which is a cancer of the salivary/ parotid gland. Unfortunately this type of cancer can be tricky, risky and include nerve involvement, facial paralysis. Alyssa is currently admitted at Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York City. She had surgery to remove the cancerous gland located deep in her neck last week. The surgery was a lot longer then expected (9 hours) with some unexpected findings. The gland was removed, surrounding lymph nodes….along with the nerves which also unfortunately had cancer involvement after clarification at pathology. Alyssa had to have nerves and tissue taken from her thigh and put in her other surgical area on her neck. She is currently having a difficult  time trying to take all this in. Alyssa has not been feeling well for several months and has been trying to find answers to her many symptoms. With covid guidelines postponing a lot of medical needs she desperately needed. She’s been Seeing different specialists with no true diagnosis despite her feeling sick and a feeling that something is not right. Please always advocate for yourself. You know your body! Please pray that this surgery is the answer to her symptoms, the reason she felt sick and that her months of ongoing symptoms get better and go away. That all these unsolved medical puzzles finally come together and heal her. Due to the removal of her cancerous salivary gland and cancer involvement of the nerves…..she will need radiation therapy. Currently Alyssa is waiting for the full pathology report to determine what stage it is and how aggressive. She is currently still in New York City with her husband Jeremy, her parents, and two young boys by her side as much as they are permitted in the hospital for visits. I am asking you all to bless Alyssa and her family with any generosity you can help with. Alyssa has done so much for the community, is always there to give a helping hand, always pouring out to others and there if you need her. Well….let’s show Alyssa how much we love her and pour our hearts into her this time!!! This fund is for funeral costs to help the family of Sean Jewett. Sean passed away Monday due to an car accident and his friend, Kameron Evans,  is in critical condition still. <strong>Background:</strong><br />Six years ago, a terrible person abandoned a 4 week old puppy on the side of the road.  Luckily, she was rescued before she was seriously injured, or even killed.  People say my husband saved Isabella, but in all reality, she saved him, a teenager just out of high school, lost in his own life.  Anyone who knows him, knows that Izzy is not his pet, she is his baby.  She truly is a special dog.  She loves adults, kids, babies, and animals.  Her best friends are two cats and a horse, sometimes I'm not sure she really knows she is a dog.  She is very active and loves running, wrestling, hiking, and swimming.<br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/3012830_1421175563.7597_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /><br /><br /><strong>The Injury:</strong><br />About a week ago, my husband and Izzy were on a walk.  Izzy was running around playing and suddenly fell to the ground and cried out.  From that moment on, she refused to use her back leg, hobbling around on three legs.  It turns out, Izzy tore her cranial cruciate ligament, her ACL.  In dogs, cruciate ligaments stabilize the knee joint. In larger dogs, like Izzy, surgery is required to stabilize the knee, to keep it from moving in the wrong direction.  Without surgery the bones in her knee will continue to rub together her entire life, causing permanent reoccuring lameness in her leg, swelling, and pain.  Severe arthritis is also very likely without surgery.  <br /><img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/3012830_1421175816.6928_funddescription.png" alt="" width="100%" /><br /><strong>The Problem:</strong><br />When I finished my teaching degree last year, my husband and I decided we were going to become full time RVers.  His job is seasonal in nature, with appointments being temporary.  He went from Texas, to North Dakota, to Montana.  The housing at his worksites are for employees only, no family, no pets. Hence, the full time RVing.  We hated the idea of having to put our pets through moving to a new home every few months so we picked a home that could come with us.  The RV we bought is older, no way we could afford a new one, and with that came problems.  First it was the brakes, which actually failed as my husband and father were driving the RV home after picking it up.  The brake job, unlike a car, cost over $2,000 .  Then came our drive to his job in Montana, which is when our transmission went.  Another huge chunk of money down the drain.
