<div>Hi, my name is Julie Kissick, and I have set up this GoFundMe to support my best friend Nichole Schmidt and her family. On February 25, Nichole's husband, David, was airlifted to UCLA Hospital with an aortic dissection, a serious life threatening condition requiring surgery. After being stabilized, he underwent an all-day surgery on March 11 to repair the dissection. He is currently under the care of Dr. Kwon at the Ronald Reagan UCLA medical center.

<div>Nichole has been by his side throughout the hospitalization. David's mother, sister, and extended family have been helping Nichole with lodging and commutes to and from the hospital which has been a huge blessing. Also Nichole's parents are taking care of Megan and Dawson back home in Porterville, and for that they are extremely grateful.

She anticipates an adjusted, limited work schedule during David's at-home recovery. Help aid David Schmidt medical recovery journey

The Huanaco family was involved in a tragic car accident in Porterville on 6/19 and were hit by a drunk driver who ran a red light. Mom, Yesi and her 4 children were seriously injured. 2 of their beloved girls, Destiny and Katelyn did not survive. Ashley and Sean are still both in critical condition and Yesi remains under care. Dad Juan is at the bedside of his children. Please any donation for this family would be so appreciated. They will need help to cover medical expenses as well as any help for the loss of work. On December 8, 2017 our dearest loved one, Chelsea, underwent Gallbladder surgery.  While away from work and recovering at home, Chelsea developed a large blood clot extending from her upper left knee into her hip and was taken to Sierra View Hospital where she has been since December 16, 2017. Chelsea was admitted into the hospital and immediately administered blood thinners. Due to the size of  the blood clot this method of treatment was not successful therefore she will have to undergo multiple procedures and is bed bound. <br /><br />At this time we are unable to determine how long she will be hospitalized as well as foresee how long her recovery will be once she is able to be released home to the care of her loving family and beautiful children.  <br /><br />As we can all understand, this unforeseen event will have a significant financial impact on the Lupercio family. In addition to medical costs, Chelsea is currently away from work which is a hardship on the family. In addition to all the wonderful prayers you are sending to her and her family, we are asking for monetary donations to assist the family. Any and all amounts are welcomed and very much appreciated.
