I have had the great pleasure to have Tatum as our assistant manager, friend, and family member in our business for 4 years. Tatum was a very hard working young lady and always kept a smile on her face. Over the years she had expressed her pleasure to be in laguna and have her opportunity with us. We felt that we really had a family member here with us. This go fund me is going to help tatums family directly , and assist with funeral and memorial in laguna beach to honor Tatum.

Some of the donations will help with creating a memorial in the city, so everyone in town never forgets about our sweet friend Tatum. Please help us honor Tatum, she was found lifeless in Laguna Beach and we are being told at the moment, that this is a ongoing homicide investigation. We are going to do our best to make sure we help the city in anyway to help the police with their work and investigations. We truly need your help to give Tatum the memorial she very much deserves.And the assistance for the family during this very difficult time.

UPDATE: November 9, 2020<br /><br />Thank you to each and every one of you for your kindness and support! I am happy to share some good news: I’ve been invited to join The Society for Collegiate Leadership &amp; Achievement (SCLA), a national honor society. SCLA is a multidisciplinary honor society with members at over 600 colleges and universities nationwide. Your encouragement has made all the difference through the past few years.<br /><br />Rehabilitation will always be my challenge. It’s unfortunate but this is who I am now. Yes, I’m doing a lot better but continue to have problems with muscle tone on the left side of my body, severe headaches and migraines, PTSD, anxiety and panic attacks. The muscles in my throat are weak. Sometimes I have trouble swallowing liquids and choke easily. I can’t just walk anywhere I want to go. The toes on my left foot are curled which makes me unbalanced. As a result, I have to get injections every three months to loosen the muscles in the bottom of my foot, ankle, calf, thigh, tricep, elbow, forearm, palm, and thumb. In addition to the injections, I have to take medication for pain and to relax my left side. Meanwhile, I continue to struggle for access to therapy and new, improved equipment.<br /><br />It’s a non-stop struggle. I can’t drive myself to school and doctor’s appointments. My father has Glaucoma, is losing his vision, and is frustrated that he can’t work. My mom continues working in human services as a Personal Care Assistant for the elderly and disabled. We can’t afford for her to finally retire.<br /><br />Stay tuned for news about my book that Chivas Sandage, my co-writer, is at work on!<br /><br />LGBTQ influencer Josh Helfgott just made a video about Mollie and me for TikTok. <div>On the night of Thursday, August 10th 1989, my mother Rhys Pocan, a 35 year old Native American woman, was tragically taken from my family and community. While walking along National Ave in Milwaukee around midnight, she was abducted in an act of unimaginable violence.

<div>Her life was stolen, and her body was desecrated. Months later, hunters discovered her remains scattered across public hunting grounds in Wisconsin. Her head and hands were found in Vernon marsh, Waukesha county, and her torso in Nichols Creek, Sheboygan county. Decades later, her case remains unsolved leaving my family and community without the justice we deserve.

<div>I am launching this GoFundMe campaign to honor Rhys’ memory and to seek justice. The funds raised will be used to:

My family has spent the last 35 years living with this pain of not knowing who, or why they did this. This campaign is not just about solving a crime but ensuring her story is not forgotten.
