<div>My twin sister, Alison, and brother-in-law Marc, my niece Georgi (6) and nephew Nico (3) had a house fire on Thursday and lost almost everything. Luckily no one was hurt and Marc had stopped by the house and was able to save the dogs. Unfortunately, the house is uninhabitable, and they lost almost everything inside except a few things that were in the basement. We are starting this fundraiser to help them during this devastating time to get back on their feet and rebuild everything. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.

<div>It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of John Paul Duraes.

<div>Last Thursday, John Paul, of Putnam Valley, NY, lost his battle to Leukemia at the young age of 50.  He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, son, brother and friend of so many. John was a beautiful soul and was adored by all that knew him. He was selfless and hardworking, always willing to put others above himself, always willing to help anyone and everyone.

<div>John Paul leaves behind his wife, Lucia, and his two children, Catarina (19 years old) and Jonathan (14 years old), who were his everything. John’s passing leaves a huge hole in so many people’s lives, especially his family’s. 
</div>

<div>As the main provider of his home, John’s passing leaves a financial burden on his family. 
</div>
<div>While nothing will ever ease the insurmountable pain of losing a loving husband and father, if you would like to contribute to the family you can do so, in lieu of flowers.

<div>It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Kevin Bogus, who passed away due to unexpected health complications on Friday, May 27, 2022. Kevin was the beloved husband to Amy Wyman Bogus and loving father to Reagan (10 years old) and Grayson (5 years old). Kevin touched the lives of so many as a husband, father, son, teacher, and friend. Kevin will always be remembered for his charisma, perseverance, sense of humor, love of comic books and Avengers movies, along with his amazing ninja warrior skills!

<div>Kevin was a dedicated teacher at Fort Plain Jr/Sr High School. He was passionate about physical fitness and working with kids. Kevin also loved working at the Albany Ninja Lab, and he even built a backyard ninja gym for his own children.

<div>Kevin is survived by his wife Amy (Eagle Elementary Kindergarten teacher in the Bethlehem Central School District) and their two children, Reagan and Grayson (Voorheesville Elementary School), and his parents, Tony and Ginny Bogus, who reside in Florida. 
</div>

<div>These funds will help cover the family's financial burden during this unexpected time of loss and help set up college funds for both Reagan and Grayson.

Hi everyone,<br /><br />I’m sure by now you all know that Valerie and Mike Goodwin’s daughter,  Olivia, has been in the hospital since right after thanksgiving for seizures. This has caused some other medical issues that they are desperately trying to get ahold of. Valerie and Mike have been spending days and nights in the hospital, spending time away from Amelia and Emma, barely sleeping, and missing work. It’s so heartbreaking to watch. Yet they amaze us with how strong they are, how positive they stay, and how they never utter a complaint.<br /><br />We are all hoping and praying that Olivia can get better and be home for Christmas. A lot of people are reaching out and asking what they can do to help them. I think we all feel helpless, because other than praying, there isn’t much anyone can do to help. So I thought of an idea, which obviously the Goodwins don’t know about...If anyone is looking for a charitable cause for the holidays, please consider making a small donation here to a cause that is personal to us all. My intentions are to use the money we all collect to help the Goodwins cover the cost of this lengthy hospital stay and maybe give Olivia a very special gift for Christmas. <br /><br />Please pass this along to anyone you think would be interested in participating. If we can keep this a secret until Christmas, I will share this with Valerie and Mike on Christmas Eve. Our hearts are broken. We lost a genuine soul yesterday. My brother, Jason Michael Varian lost his life yesterday .Myself and my family are devastated. My mother lost a son , I lost a brother and friends lost one of the best friends you could want in your life. I humbly am asking for any help with his services. My brother was an iraqi vet and fought for the freedoms we all live for. Thank you to everyone for all your help and support
