<div>Jenny was running a very usual route near their home when a car hit her going about 40 mph. She was taken to Froedtert Trauma Center and is currently in ICU. She has a fractured left leg, multiple level fractures in her thoracic spine, fractured collarbone, fractured pelvis, fractured right elbow, multiple rib fractures, and we’re still waiting on the results of additional scans and x-rays. She has some small damage to blood vessels around her brain, but that should heal over time.

<div>She underwent surgery this afternoon to remove a disc in her back that was bulging and to fuse levels of her thoracic spine from T1-T9. The surgery went well .They are doing surgery tomorrow to place rods and screws in her leg for the tibia fracture.

<div>Due to the severity of the damage to her spinal cord and the fractures in her back, she does not have feeling or motor function from about her chest down to her feet. She cannot move her legs or wiggle her toes. There is going to be a long road of recovery and extensive, intensive rehab to help her adjust to a new normal, but we all know Jenny doesn’t stay down. She’s a fighter, and she’s determined.

<div>By some miracle and the Grace of God, she is alive, and she has been the same Jenny in her conversations with all of us. <div>Unfortunately, Casey has been diagnosed with stage 3 uterine cancer. She will have to have 6 rounds of chemotherapy over the next 18 weeks followed by 5 weeks of radiation. Although Casey is planning on working through treatment, she may have to take time off (in addition to the recovery time for her surgeries). Many of you have heard Casey's story and have expressed a desire to bless her financially. We wanted to create this site for y'all to do so if you feel led. While it is not expected, it is always appreciated.

<div>Casey has remained in good spirits throughout and is hopeful and optimistic despite the challenging road ahead.  Although it has been an extremely difficult couple of months, the prayers, love and support of family and friends have been incredible and have held us up. We see and feel all of it and couldn't be more grateful.

Hi, I am asking for help for my sister Chelsey Brackin and her husband Willie Brackin and their 3 kids . They are dealing with a scary health battle for Willie . He has been dealing with some health issues for a couple of years and the drs kept blowing them off , so Monday he went to the hospital to find out that he had brain swelling , fluid on his brain , and a mass on his frontal lobe . He has been transferred to two hospitals now because the surgeons did not want to touch it . But from what they are saying it does not look like they have an easy road ahead of them . They own their own business so they can’t get sick leave or paid time off , and my sister is spending as much time with him at the hospital as possible because both of his parents are deceased and they are both so scared . I would really appreciate if people could help donate to help them through the financial struggles that will come with this . They are the kind of couple who are always Helping others , they always watch several different kids as favors to people who need the help and never ask for a dime , they often donate to go fund me for others in need , he coaches ball in Baker , and they genuinely care to help others . So please help me in helping them , even if it’s only $5 , it will add up and they will appreciate anything . Their 3 boys are miracles who have an amazing daddy and I hope we can pull together to help relieve any stress that we can .

<div>Hi my name is Lori and my Best Friend's 30 year old Daughter, Schuylar has been battling an aggressive cervical cancer since March. This week through a pet scan to see how her treatments worked on the cervical cancer it appeared that the cancer had metastasized to her liver. A biopsy later in the week confirmed this. Schuylar will begin a new aggressive regimen of Chemo within the next 2 weeks. Schuylar, her husband Joe and their 19 month old son Vander will make the move from their current home in Gainesville GA to Harrisonburg VA within the next few weeks as well. This will allow them to be closer to family as she begins this new battle. Her Mom has mentioned to me that several people who love Schuylar have asked how they can help. Being friends with her Mom for over 40 years I know that it is hard for this family to ask for any kind of help, but I also know that Schuylar's first battle and treatments, along with procedures to allow for more Barnes Babies in the future if the outcome is what her family and friends are praying for is God's will, has left some substantial medical expenses that were not covered by insurance. That along with this move and not knowing how much Schuylar will be able to work during her treatment can definitely cause a financial burden. So in knowing all of this I feel that this is the best way for myself and others who care about and love this family to support them . We together can help relieve part of this financial burden on this already hurting family. I have set this account up so that all donations will go directly deposited into Schuylar and Joe's savings account. I know that they will be humbled and greatly appreciative of any help and support that is offered to them through this fund. If you are unable to financially give, we ask for you to keep this family in your payers daily. <div>This November, my mother Tammie Carroll (or as a lot of you know her, the "Heart of Watercolor Publix" at the customer service desk) was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Tammie is an amazing mother, daughter, friend and such an important person to this community. She is the most thoughtful and loving woman I have ever known and I know many of you can say the same. My father Eric, my brother Cameron and I have been hard at work since the diagnosis and are now helping her get ready for the next step: Chemotherapy starting December 16th.

<div>This all began over the past year with my mother dealing with lower back pain, abdomen pain and swelling, feeling tired constantly and gaining "weight." She tried numerous approaches to feeling better, but nothing was working for her. She thought it may have just been the effects of aging until she discovered an unusual hard mass in her abdomen where the pain and weight gain were. From there, she saw a handful of doctors and specialists to try and get answers. During one of her CT Scans, they discovered an 8-inch tumor (big) as well as an odd-shaped, 3-inch tumor in one of her Fallopian tubes.

<div>This led to a 7-hour-long surgery on November 2nd at Pensacola Sacred Heart. She did so amazing and they were able to remove both tumors that turned out both to be cancerous and unrelated to each other. They also went ahead and removed 11 lymph nodes as well to ensure it had not spread to them. For 7 days, my father Eric remained by her side until she was able to come home, sleeping in the chair next to her, brushing her hair every day and letting her know everything was going to be okay. That day will forever be in my mind with the image of my sweet mother going in with the best attitude and coming out just the same, despite the battle that still remained.

<div>Her chemotherapy will begin on December 16th and continue for 6 total sessions. She will be close to home at the Sacred Heart Cancer Center in Sandestin, which we are so thankful for. We are so blessed to have even had friends and family already reach out to sit with her during her 6-hour sessions.

<div>Without work for the foreseeable future, the financial burden of what's to come will be significant. In order to continue receiving the care she needs, we ask our community and anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing and loving our mother from both near and far to consider donating. We are not ones to ask for help as tears run down my face, but we are just not able to be there for her in this way. We thank you so much in advance for taking the time to read this.
