<div> Who doesn’t love Eva? John and I are passionate about this gofundme for our friend. Mostly on her own, Eva has raised and supported four beautiful children who bring her great joy. She is putting 2 of them through college right now. Medical bills are pilling up and doctors say there is a long road ahead. She is a warrior but definitely needs our help!

<div>  In early March Eva had pain in her back and chest.  After a CT scan she was told she had a large tumor behind her heart (aorta) that was ‘likely cancer’. She had her first of 3 bronchoscopies, and with each one her body weakened from the inflammation it produced. The tumor was in one lung and protruded well into her windpipe and her slightest movement made it nearly impossible to take in air. She was functioning on one lung. She waited at home with a tentative start date for chemo and immunotherapy and within 10 days it was nearly impossible to get and down the stairs and she quickly developed a fever.  It’s important to note that during this insanely stressful time, Eva was determined to keep working from home for the job and people she adores at CBS’s The Bold and the Beautiful where she is the Public Relations Coordinator for the past 13 years.

<div>  Eva was finally cleared for the clinical trial last week and went to the hospital to begin treatment. The same day they discovered she had a collapsed lung from the needle biopsy and her oxygen levels had dropped dangerously low which meant the clinical trial was out.  Eva insisted they go ahead with the chemo but her dangerously low oxygen level would not let that happen. May 6th she was moved to the ICU for treatment and to diagnose why she kept getting winded at the slightest movement. They put a tube in her chest to re-inflate her lung. Ever looking for the light, Eva texted us, “This is amazing as my goal is to be self-sufficient at home and get back to the office a couple days a week..and to go to the market myself! Lol”

<div>  Last Sunday they did another bronchoscopy, trying to put a stent in the left lung to hold back the tumor so she could breath. Her oxygen was still too low. On that Monday the doctors put her on a ventilator. This is a risky procedure for Eva because she only has the use of one lung. She is currently sedated, in a medically induced coma until her lung function returns. Rest and treatment will follow. She is critical but stable.

<div>  Eva told her doctors before she was vented that she “wants everything done to fight!!” Her will is strong and her children are her world.  She’s that rare person you meet in your lifetime who embodies all that is love and light, generosity and loyalty. Eva’s 4 children; she refers to them as Blessing #1 (Ryan), Blessing #2 (Erik), Blessing #3 (Jake) and Blessing #4 (Emma) as well as Eva’s beloved sister Amy surround her around the clock.

<div>  Her condition is changing as I write this and although she is still critical there are definite signs of improvement. Eva’s kids are asking for all your thoughts and prayers. Radiation and chemo is the next step and with continued improvement getting her off the ventilator.

<div>Time goes by fast when you look back at the time you've spent with your best friend. It goes by too fast. Turbo has been my lifesaver, my heart, and my everything for the past 11 years. There is nothing I wouldn't do for this dog. That's why I'm asking for help with his medical bills as he now needs surgery to remove a tumor before it spreads.

<div>I have been given a beautiful and super fun opportunity! As many of you know, Drew Barrymore and I have the EXACT same birthday, 2/22/75. Almost one year ago, I tried to be a part of the virtual audience for the 2/22 taping of "The Drew Barrymore Show," but it was quickly booked up. So, I decided I would try my luck for this year, being the insanely magical 2/22/22.

<div>I submitted my application online back in July of 2021, and then low-and-behold, two weeks ago, out of the blue, I got a call from Producers of the show who had received my application to be IN the audience for the taping of Drew's Birthday Celebration!!!! I was even offered to be a part of the audience virtually, but this week, unfortunately, producers decided they weren't going to do that, so sitting in my living room at my computer to be a part of the show is no longer an option. I have to get myself to NYC on my own dime but will have guaranteed admittance into the audience with this VIP Ticket.

<div>I spoke on the phone with them for 45 minutes, sharing my 2/22 stories of all of my numeric signs from the Universe of 1111, 222, 1234, 444, 1010, and 1212, etc. I spoke of having the same birthday as Paul Dooley, the encounter I had with him years ago about our 2/22 birthday and other coincidences regarding dates and numbers. They thought this was all wonderful and fun! I shared my story of all of the connections and similar experiences I have had compared to Drew and even shared how I came to meet her briefly at Beauty Con in 2017, only for a moment. It was captured on video by her production team too, and as part of my submission, I shared all of the photos and footage to back up our encounter.

<div>Then I was asked to do a submission video expressing my connection to Drew, what 2/22 meant to me, how I celebrate my birthday every year, and what I love about the "Drew Barrymore Show." After I turned this video in, I communicated back and forth with Producers, and they loved the footage, my energy, and my enthusiasm.

<div>Yesterday, I was officially granted a VIP ticket for guaranteed admittance for the in-studio audience for the taping of the 2/22/22 show, actually being recorded in Drew's CBS Studio in New York City at 10 am on 2/10/22!!!! YAY! WHAT A WONDERFUL WIN!!!!! Only people born on 2/22 were granted a ticket!

<div>The super bummer, as many of you know and have experienced yourself, I have only worked five days in 2 years because of the Covid Pandemic, and I am currently living and surviving on Unemployment, which does not allow for anything extra once bills are paid. So, to say my budget is tight is, well, an understatement, to say the least.

<div>I have not left the state of California for business or pleasure since 2018, and four years of working 24/7 and then being single and alone for the past two years trapped at home because of the pandemic has really put my life into perspective.
