<div>On May 8th, 2024, my father suffered a severe traumatic brain injury as the result of a brutal assault. From that moment on, I did everything in my power to help him. He spent 11 months in a vegetative state in a skilled nursing facility.

<div>That day in May changed all of our lives forever. My father was in the ICU for the first 4 months since the attack. He was later discharged to a skilled nursing home where he improved but did not come out of the vegetative state. He was then in and out of the hospital due to many complications linked to his brain injury, and I was by his side every step of the way. I held on to hope and prayed he would come back to us, but that day never came.

<div>My dad was a hardworking man—a self-made mechanic who built his shop from the ground up. He poured his heart into his work and into providing for his family. Despite our efforts to keep his shop running, we eventually had to let it go. That loss was not just financial, but deeply emotional as well.

<div>He was the kind of person who lit up any room and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He loved his family fiercely and always put us first. Now, we are doing everything we can to honor him in the same way.

<div>Hello! I'm reaching out to ask for help! This is so hard for me to do, as I've always done everything on my own. Here is my story: On September 18, 2019 I was in a car accident around 10:00 PM that evening, which I totaled the car. That morning around 10:00 AM my spouse passed away with oral cancer. When the accident happened, the paramedics showed up, and took me to the hospital. They performed about 20 x-rays, and found I had a lung nodule in my left lung. They advised me to keep an eye on it, and have it checked. I went to the doctor within a few weeks. During the next several months, I had a PET scan, Bronchoscope, CT-scan, and a Biopsy. It was confirmed on Sept 18, 2020 the lung nodule was positive for lung cancer. That day my world turned upside down. My life has never been the same. On October 28th, 2020 I had a third of my lung removed. During the procedure, they removed 8 lymph nodes, and 1 out of the 8, came back positive for cancer. I then have had numerous toxic infections, fluid in around my heart, and crucial pain. I'm currently on Tagrisso which is target therapy for non-small lung cancer. There are so many side effects which I'm currently experiencing. During this treatment, I have to undergo so many scans. They include, Breathing test, Echocardiogram, CT-Scan, x-ray, and Pet-Scan. The latest scan has determined that my cancer has spread to my brain, and a reoccurrence in my lungs close to my heart. These scans all come with a co-pay. I am also needing to start radiation treatment soon for my brain and I'm asking for any kind of help as in my most recent scan, they now have found a spot that is growing in my brain. They confirmed this is cancer. If you could please help with anything, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, I would like to request prayers. I do know prayers to work. Help Single Mom Fight Stage 4 Lung and Brain Cancer

Around two years ago my friend Davee was working at a local Starbucks when his life started to flip upside down. He noticed that he couldn’t hear customers orders anymore, and was ultimately fired from his job due to his lack of hearing. Concerned with his hearing impairment he decided to visit a doctor where he was then later diagnosed with deafness in one ear from Type 2 Neurofibromatosis (hearing loss, vision loss, and difficulty with balance.)<br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/49920804_1595660799492062_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="49920804_1595660799492062_r.jpeg" />Davee’s doctor ordered an X-Ray and  then had discovered something even more terrifying,...that he had five brain tumors . “I remember my mom breaking down and crying her eyes out ... my family was shocked and mortified but  I was the only one not crying. I’m not scared...I feel like nothing can stop what God has planned for me. Since I found out about having these brain tumors my life has been a roller coaster” Davee states. <br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/49920804_1595660857941314_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="49920804_1595660857941314_r.jpeg" /><br />Davee is a humble and kind man who does not feel comfortable asking for help, but he can not continue to financially, physically, and mentally suffer this way. He really needs your help! Ever since his diagnosis he has suffered from voices in his head/hallucinations and has gone through three traumatic seizures. Davee has had two brain surgeries this past year , which  so far have removed two of his tumors...but he still has three left!
