<div>Nevaeh Marie Ramirez was called to her eternal home in Heaven on July 18, 2023. Nevaeh was an Epilepsy Warrior and also had a rare disease of Chromosome 6 deletion (6Q16.322.3). Nevaeh suddenly passed due to SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy) Nevaeh was born on December 31, 2008. She is survived by her parents Raena &amp; Michael and her 5 siblings, Serenna, Zanaeah, Michael Jr, Lenea, &amp; Isaiah.

<div>Nevaeh loved going to school, playing in water, watching &amp; listening to Barney, and spending time with her family. She truly brought joy and happiness to everyone around her. Nevaeh’s strength is something we can all admire; she was a true reflection of what it means to defy all odds.

<div>Nevaeh was the light in all our lives. She will be so greatly missed. The loss of Nevaeh has left a hole in all of our hearts but we are trying to find peace in the fact that she is spending eternity in Heaven with our Lord &amp; Savior and one day we will be reunited. <div>It's with much sadness to inform you our precious baby Mario passed away from his battle with Rhabdoid cancer on the morning of 5/24, surrounded by his loving mother, father, and sister in Massachusetts.There are no words to describe the pain of losing such a sweet innocent angel.

<div>My heart is with my brother and my sister in law and their sweet baby girl that is still here missing his smell, his laughs, his light–forced to adjust to the unimaginable.

<div>I’m praying that even though life keeps moving, they get the chance to slow down and be with this ache for as long as it takes to build their own relationships with this grief. To grant them the time to come home to themselves and feel the spirit of life moving through them.

<div>What makes Rhabdoid one of the most aggressive childhood cancers is that it adapts to chemotherapy and becomes resistant.

<div>Baby Mario’s chemotherapy has stopped working and they started him on an immunotherapy clinical trial that was teaching his immune system to beat the cancer on his own, which is why those little curly locks are slowly making a comeback!

<div>Throughout this whole experience I’ve witnessed my brother and his wife fight tirelessly to put him in a position where he can get the very best treatment.

<div>They both quit their jobs, packed up their family and moved across the country with no support system because Boston is one of the best in the world for this cancer.

<div>This baby boy has been through so much, his little body is exhausted but he’s still fighting so we’re going to keep fighting for him.

<div>Last week our family's world came crashing down when baby Mario was diagnosed with the rarest and most aggressive type of cancer for a child , stage 4 Rhabdoid. He previously showed zero symptoms and my brother and his wife are needing support to help navigate this traumatic experience.

I have been going to Skid Row for the last 3 1/2 years providing meals, blankets and tents for our brothers &amp; sisters that are unhoused and in dire need. When I first started, I would go to Skid Row once or twice a month. However, for the last 18 weeks we have now been coming every week and I would love nothing more than to continue our weekly outreaches. When I say it takes a tribe to pull this off to provide for our street family, I really does! My hope is to be able to provide meals every week for the rest of the 2023! It is so much more than just giving someone a meal. It’s consistently showing up and letting people know that they are LOVED, SEEN &amp; NOT FORGOTTEN. We want to bring back hope to the hopeless.
