<div>Music has always been my anchor. Growing up in Davis, I wanted to be professional athlete (basketball &amp; soccer), but it was through music and the arts that I truly found my voice. My journey in music has taken me from small local stages to national platforms like America’s Got Talent, where I placed third, and performances on TEDTalks, The Ellen Show, WIRED, and The Queen Latifah Show. I’ve also had the privilege of performing in meaningful places like San Quentin Prison, connecting with diverse audiences and sharing my passion for music.

<div>Yet, my journey has also been shadowed by great challenges. In 2021, I lost my best friend and musical soulmate, Rasar. His passing not only left a void in my heart but also pushed me to pour my grief into our shared passion—creating music that resonates with those who experience similar losses. My latest songs, "With Grace" and "Let Go," reflect this profound emotional journey.

<div>His ashes were placed next to his mother and father at the Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes grounds.  Chapel of the Chimes is down the street from the house he and Kim grew up in, and their grandparents are also placed at the mausoleum there.  I hope you find comfort knowing that Kris might be with his ancestors that loved him very much.

Eric "Maserati E" Abercrombie is a talented artist who has been incarcerated since the age of 17.  Eric is currently creating brief documentary films with FirstWatch (<a href="https://restorecal.org/firstwatch/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://restorecal.org/firstwatch/</a>) with the intent of changing the prevailing narrative about incarcerated people. He also creates music and his original songs are a blend of smooth melodic vocals, poignant rap and impressive percussive acoustic guitar play, which has been featured on the podcast EarHustle.
