We Are KinderHaus!

KinderHaus is a beloved family-owned early childhood learning center in Cleveland Park, NW Washington, DC. Since 1991, our school has been a place where babies and toddlers explore, create, and grow in a nurturing environment, but we’re ready to take that experience to the next level. Learn more at: https://kinderhaus.org/

Did You Know? Play is Essential, Not Optional

Did you know that outdoor, interactive play is crucial for children to develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and resilience? Research shows that naturalized playgrounds increase play value and encourage higher levels of physical activity, contributing to children's overall health and well-being. [https://tinyurl.com/KHFacts]

That’s why KinderHaus is raising $100,000 to create an engaging, nature-based outdoor play and learning space for our students. We’re partnering with Earlyspace, a leader in outdoor classroom design, to transform our space into a dynamic environment that fosters creativity, movement, and exploration. This new playground will feature:

Natural climbing structures that challenge and excite.

Interactive play areas to spark curiosity and collaboration.

Gardens and sensory spaces that encourage discovery.

Water features for immersive, hands-on learning.

A playground is more than just a place to play, it’s a child’s first gym, classroom, and community center. By supporting this campaign, you’re giving KinderHaus children a place to grow, dream, and belong.

Your donation will create an eco-friendly playspace designed for adventure, discovery, and fun!
