<div>On Scott Rozells 17th birthday, our world was forever changed when he was tragically shot and killed. A life so young, so full of promise, was taken far too soon. There are no words that can truly express the depth of pain his family and loved ones are carrying.

<div>Scott was a sweet, shy, and deeply loving soul. He cared about others in a quiet, genuine way, and those who knew him felt his kindness. He was a gentle kid with a big heart—someone who deserved so much more time, so many more birthdays, and a full life ahead of him.

<div>Scott was being raised by his sister, who stepped into that role at a very young age while also caring for her own young child. The bond they shared was incredibly special. He was deeply loved by all of his sisters, brother, niece, parents and by all of his family and friends who will miss him beyond words.

<div>We are asking for help to give Scott the goodbye he deserves. The average cost of a funeral and other arrangements is between $8,000 and $10,000, an overwhelming burden during an already unimaginable time. Scott deserves to be laid to rest with dignity, love, and respect.

A Loving Farewell for Scott Rozell

<div>My name is Kelsey Komar, and this is my daughter Aurora Jane. She is currently 6 months old. She was born with a PDA, a congenital heart defect where she has a valve that is refusing to close. Which is also causing the left chamber of her heart to swell. We will be traveling to Denver Children’s hospital April 22 for her heart surgery. Unfortunately this isn’t Aurora’s only health condition. She was also born with a cleft palate and swollen kidneys. We are consistently working with healthcare professionals here and now in Denver to get our daughter well. Our first mission is to fix the heart, then our next serious surgery will be to fix her cleft palate and then the kidneys. I am asking for help, please because medical bills are stacking up and we are beyond overwhelmed. We ask for prayers and love through this very hard time. Aurora Jane is the happiest baby and such a blessing to our family! We are so blessed to have the love and support of our family and friends.
