<div>Please help us save Garth! Garth came to TCAS as a sweet, cuddly pup but kennel stress has taken over. Garth has been evaluated and it was determined that he has been too affected by kennel stress and cannot be rehabilitated. He was not taken out of the kennel to be evaluated and was evaluated by an expert that has no history with him. Volunteers at TCAS that DO have a history with him firmly believe that with outside time and love and trust, he can return to that sweet, lovable pup again. <strong>We are hoping to get donations so that if we find a Rescue to save him and pull him from TCAS, we will have the funds to sponsor him for training, vet expenses, etc. to rehab him.</strong> Garth only has until May 24 to be saved. If we can’t find a shelter to pull him and he does get euthanized, we will use these funds for the next dog we feel can be saved.

Amber Marie Rodriguez was brutally murdered April 22, 2024 at William Wiley Elementary School in West Richland, Washington - the victim of a domestic violence homicide. Amber is the loving, devoted, and fiercely protective mother of Eden (9), and Leon (6). <br /><br />So many in our community and beyond are looking for a way to support Amber’s family during this devastating and tragic time. Eden was a witness to his mother’s murder and will need extensive support going forward. Due to Leon’s unique abilities, he may not understand why his mommy is gone, but he feels the loss deeply and is also in need of support and resources. Eden and Leon are blessed with a large, loving maternal family who will raise them to know just how much they are loved by their most precious guardian angel. <br /><br />Let’s support the family during this horrific time. Reginald Miller Memorial

In 2012 after barely being married 6 months, Bekah was diagnosed with stage 2 estrogen receptive breast cancer. After almost 3 years in remission, in 2015 she was diagnosed with metastatic disease. The cancer was back and had spread primarily to her bones (lower back and hips). Since that time metastases have also been found on her shoulder blades, skull, ribs, liver, and lungs. The cancer has also mutated to be progesterone receptive as well. The contastant pain and medications to control it prevents her from working. This disease hat taken away the chance to start our own family, and right now adoption is just too expensive. She faces a lifetime of treatments as metastatic cancer is currently incurable. The best hope is to control it and keep it stable to prolong her life as long as possible trying different chemotherapies until they stop working. The financial burden and stress on people like her and their caregivers is tough. Any help you can give to relieve some of that stress is a blessing. It is the story of many other metastatic cancer fighters like her. Research is underfunded. As part of our fundraiser for Bekah we plan on donating a portion to Metavivor. <strong>Alright Peloton Fam, one of our own needs our help! Let's help Mike and Laura Boatner ride to their victory against Hodgkins Lymphoma! </strong><br /><br />As some of you may already know, we had a fellow member of the Peloton Community post this morning regarding selling her bike.  As I read further, my heart started to sink as soon as my eyes hit the third sentence......  "My husband has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma and we need the money for medical bills." <br /><br />After reading this post my first thought was "what can we do to keep that bike and help them?" I glanced at their profiles and the more I read the more my eyes filled with tears. WHAT A WARRIOR!!! WHAT A DEFINITION OF LOVE THEIR RELATIONSHIP IS!!! The photos, the comments- it all touched me so deeply. Their genuine love for animals really hit home as well. I saw that just yesterday Laura had to pick up a script for $2,200, can you even imagine?! That's just one prescription... Then there are the numerous doctor visits, tests, treatments etc. I saw photos of Mike and Laura with captions such as "before cancer"... I read a comment on their beach photo where Laura explains  "this picture is just poignant for me. He was feeling perfectly pain-free after having had a little tiny pain for a few weeks. It was right here, on the beach that day, that he said he thought he’d just cancel the CT that had been scheduled. For some reason we decided. “Nah...might as well have it since it’s already scheduled.” I remember how carefree we were that day. I like looking at this “before” picture." <br /><br /><strong>                                                The only thing I knew at this point was WE HAVE TO HELP! </strong><br /><br />I was a bit nervous to do so, but I ended up commenting that we should all join together and try to raise the funds they need... And let me tell you what, outpouring of support has been nothing short of AMAZING!!! Can I just say how PROUD I am to be a part of such a wonderful community?! You are all amazing!!! <br /><br />I've spoken to both Mike and Laura about setting this up for them and they are beyond grateful for any help they can get during their journey. I know we can't make this all disappear for them, but we can surely remove some of the their financial stresses by donating. I wasn't sure about what the goal should be, so I put in 15,000. Maybe I'm a bit too ambitious, but I think we can all move mountains if we join together!! If the goal is met I can change it to increase as needed- they need all the help they can get right now. My name is Monique T., and I am the studio manager at Orangetheory Fitness in Richland, WA where Cassi is a member. Cassi is a wife, a mother, and an amazing person with a personality that will draw you in, she will make you laugh until it hurts, and her drive and determination will inspire you. She is a member of Orangetheory Fitness in Richland, when she signed up her one goal was to do a box jump. A box jump for most may sound simple, but for Cassi it was not. Years ago, Cassi lost her leg in a terrible car accident. We are happy to report that Cassi has done more than just a box jump, she completed Orangetheory's DRI TRI which consists of a 2,000-meter row, 300 body weight exercises and you finish it up with a 5k (3.1 miles). Although Cassi is excelling in her journey her current prosthetic was not designed for high intensity athletic performance and holds Cassi back, she must take breaks often and has some discomfort in her current prosthetic while working out. Cassi has become part of our family and is an inspiring member of our community and we want to give her the gift of a prosthetic that is designed for athletic performance. With the money we raise we will purchase her a prosthetic leg, and also be able to set up a trust fund that will allow funds to be available to Cassi for her future prosthetic needs. We also will donate a portion to the Wiggle Your Toes Foundation in Cassi's name so that we can help other individuals that need assitance in receiving the prosthetics that fit their lifestyle.

On the early morning of January 20, 2017, Emma, Mom Angie and brother Alex were involved in a horrific car accident that claimed 11 year old Emma's life.
