His young family could use all the help and support possible at this very difficult and uncertain time. On the morning of June 15, 2020, Matt climbed a tree at work – something he has done hundreds of times in his career. An equipment failure caused him to fall more than 40 feet. EMT’s responded fast but quickly determined his injuries and pain level were too severe for an ambulance ride.  He was air lifted to Atrium Trauma Center in Charlotte, NC. After undergoing numerous examinations, it was determined Matt had severe vertebrae injuries and he was suffering paralysis from the waist down.  On the 16th, Matt endured a 5 hour surgery to reconstruct his spine using spacers to replace his destroyed vertebrae in hopes for the best possible recovery. He then transferred to ICU. Matt will be transferred to a rehabilitation center tomorrow, where he will live, apart from his family, for a minimum of 21 days Matt is married to his loving wife Ashley and has four children under the age of 12…. Izzy, Lexi, Dani and Remy.  Matt and Ashley have been together since they were teenagers. Matt is an animal lover, with chickens, a turkey, two dogs, and a baby raccoon he recently rescued after the tree he cut ended the life of the raccoon’s mother.  This tight knit family has dealt with countless struggles and hardships over the years, but they had finally come out on the other side stronger and together. Recently relocating to Rock Hill, South Carolina, for a fresh start, the family bought their dream home—a small farm on a few acres of land. When Matt wasn’t working long hours to provide for his large family, he was busy tending to the many jobs that are part of farm life. Matt's recovery is very unpredictable, with doctors using words like “paralyzed” and “long road”. Matt and his family have a strong faith that God will do wonders and heal his body over time. However, during this time, he and his family will need to pay a lot of medical bills (physical therapy is not included in his medical plan), buy lots of necessary equipment and supplies and make modifications to their home to accommodate Matt's wheel chair.  A ramp will need to be build and their bathroom remodeled to accommodate his wheelchair.  A wheel chair lift will also need to be added to the family’s van. Matt and his wife are doing their best to stay optimistic for the long road ahead with their young family. He has a fighting spirit, but he—and his family—will need help in the long road ahead.  I can assure you, every dollar will go to very good use assisting this family through this extremely difficult time. The accessible shower, the ramp and the wheelchair lift will help Matt regain his mobility and independence when he returns home.

Hi,  My name is Tyranesha, and I am the mother of a strong baby boy named Dallas.  First I would like to say with God all things are possible. As I am raising money for many reasons, I am going through an financial crisis. I am trying to raise money to put towards an better HOME( being he is being sent home with many medical equipment) Pace Maker /Tracker &amp; Nebulizer for Breathing Treatments , It would be a Blessing to be able to catch up on bills, more clothes as he has grown out his clothes since being in the hospital so long and he can no longer fit any of his shoes, and praying I raise enough to put towards getting transportation for his appointments to and from different towns/ states being that I have trouble with Medicaid Transportation sometimes do not come and I miss his appointments which can RISK him getting on the transplant list, We actually have to move to Texas in 6 months long as he make it to ALL appointments in order to go forward with his HEART TRANSPLANT, &amp;Try to make the best life I can for him,  as we have been in the hospital with him was going on three months, He has had two open heart surgeries (June 8, 2018 &amp; June 15, 2018)&amp; Very first one was December 5 , 2016 . His diagnosis he has had since before birth are,  ( Aortic Valve Insufficiency, Single Ventricle, Unbalanced Common AV Canal, S/P Bidirectional Glenn Shunt, Heterotaxy Syndrome ~ Cause of stomach being on WRONG SIDE with Asplenia, Etiology of Cardiac Valve Disease Unspecified &amp; Kidney Injury. Just to name a few. ) I am now reaching out to the world for help so that I may make things easier for Dallas and myself as his mom as I am also in college at Grand Canyon University studing Bachelor's Of Science Psychology. &amp; As I can not work being that Dallas need my 24 HOUR care &amp; that is what I will give him. I want to be here with him every step of his life, He is My World, I Need An Car For the Emergencies ,and His doctors appointments and us moving to another state(Texas) for his heart transplant. I JUST WANT THE BEST LIFE FOR HIM. Please Any &amp; Everything is a blessing to us.   Please share Dallas story. Hello, I am starting this fundraising campagin for my nephew, Mason McCarthy! He will be turning two years old on July 30, 2017.  Mason used to be a very energetic young man until he was diagnosed with a rare disease which has caused his very young life to become very overwhelming. On February 24, 2017, Mason started to experience some health problems and had to be taken to the local hospital for treatment. During the hospital visit and multiple tests, Mason was diagnosed with a rare disease commonly known as; Nephrotic Syndrome. This disease is rare and is known to affect 16 out of 100,000 children every year. The disease affects the kidney's and is commonly caused by damage to the small blood vessels in the kidneys that filter waste and excess water that is stored in the blood. Since being diagnosed with this rare disease on February 24, 2017, he has been in the hospital over 10 times in the past year. He has been treated by multiple doctors who have tried to stabilize the amount of water and waste that has been building up in his body with medicine and different home remedy techniques. On June 27, 2017, Mason was transported to the hospital once again because the waste and water has continued to build up in his body, making it almost impossible for him to walk, eat, or live his young little life. Mason was treated at the local hospital and given medicine and steroids to help remove the waste and water from his body. After almost a week at the hospital, Mason was released back home with minimal follow-up treatment. On Sunday, July 2, 2017, only three hours after being released from the hospital, Mason was was still holding large amounts of water in his body, he began to throw up, losing consciousness, and turning blue in color. 911 was called and medical personnel responded to treat/transport Mason back to the hosptial for further treatment. Shortly after Mason was transported to the hospital, Mason's father had to contact his work and take the day off. Mason's father was terminated from his job due to the amount of days that he has taken off recently due to the health problems Mason had been experiencing. Mason's father was the only person working in their family and was the sole provider in the household. The doctors at the hosital have come to a halt with treatment for Mason due to little to no success with previous treatments that have been offered. The doctors have now recommended that Mason be transported to a specialty hospital in Massachusettes so that Mason can be better treated; however, due to Mason's father losing his job and the lack of financial stability, Mason's family does not have the money to have him tranported to the Massachusettes Hospital. The family is very thankful that Mason continues to fight for his very deserving life and asks that anyone and everyone please share/donate to this campaign to help Mason get the medical treatement he so deserves.
