Our cat Baby has been a beloved part of our lives for years, always bringing joy and comfort to our home. Since October, she’s been struggling with constant sneezing, a bloody discharge from her nose, and clear discharge from her eye. It’s been heartbreaking to watch her go through this, especially after several vet visits where we learned she may have polyps or something lodged in her nostril. Now, she’s visibly having trouble breathing, and when she tries to purr, she chokes and starts coughing. Seeing her like this breaks our hearts every day.

 The next step is a CT scan and likely surgery to help her breathe and feel better again. The costs for Baby’s CT scan, surgery, medications, and follow-up care are more than we can manage on our own. We want to do everything we can to help her get healthy and comfortable, but we need some help to make that possible. Baby means the world to us, and we can’t imagine life without her happy, playful spirit.

<div>January 1, 2025, my son, Kevin Curry, was tragically injured in a terrorist attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, LA. He and his cousin, Reggie Hunter, were together when this event transpired. Unfortunately, Reggie was fatally injured, while Kevin sustained serious injuries from being struck by the attacker's truck, requiring long-term medical care and rehabilitation.He is currently stable and has undergone the first of more potentially necessary procedures as well as many tests.

Our dear friend Michael Sullivan has not been in a good place for some time now. As he stated in his post above, it has been a very bad year for Michael and his husband because of several on-going reasons, but this fire on December 24th was the straw that broke the camel's back. <br />Michael through his dozen different music groups on Facebook has brought thousands of us together.  We have been able to make many many friends and have been able to enjoy countless amounts of the music we cherish so much. This man has gone through so much just keeping these groups going for us so I believe you'll agree we me that Michael deserves something back from us so here's our chance to show him some love. <br /><br />Him losing his long time friend and landlady in the fire and having to relocate at a moment's notice a day before Christmas when local hotels and motels are booked to capacity due to the holidays has taken a toll on them financially. He didn't ask me to do this as he is a proud man but I know he could use our help so I reached out to him and asked his permission for me to initiate this and he gave me his blessing. Come on guys, we need to help him with his temporary housing, his having to eat out 24/7, his moving expenses including a storage unit, and most of all, help him with his first and last and deposit for his new apartment whenever he gets around to finding one. <br /><br />Thanks to any of you that decide to find it in your heart to help out and I'll see you around in Remixers.
