<div>I wanted to update everyone with my situation and thought it best to make a new gofund me dedicated specifically to my new journey. I’m in a fight for my life as the doctors continue to tell me I can not be healed.
</div>

<div>As most of you know I had a lumpectomy on the 13th of July to remove my tumor. I had this surgery for many reasons, one being so I can have relief from the pain in caused. It was hemorrhaging all the time causing me extreme amounts of pain. The other, more important reason was so they could dissect it and finally tell me what exact kind of cancer we are dealing with.

<div>Surgery didn’t exactly go well. They tried to remove the entire tumor but were not able to get clear margins…I ended up a week in the hospital with a horrible post op infection with complications from the leftover cancer cells.
</div>

<div>At least they were able to finally tell me the kind of cancer. It was pretty shocking. It’s a primary extra skeletal osteosarcoma of the breast. Extremely aggressive, exceedingly rare. Less than 200 cases worldwide since the 50’s.
</div>
<div>The reason I was in so much pain was that the tumor was building its own bone within my soft tissue.

<div>Not the news any of us wanted. Since it’s a very un studied, unknown kind of malignancy…it’s hard for doctors to offer treatment as whatever they offer would be a gamble.
</div>
<div>Unfortunately this kind of cancer has a very poor prognosis..a very low survival rate due to its aggressive nature and extremely fast recurrence rate.
</div>

<div>After some prayer and consideration I thought it would be best for me to return home to the states. I want to pursue treatment there and be around family during this time.
</div>

</div>
<div>There is a center in California called the cancer center for healing. They have amazing, innovative, and cutting edge treatments that are very hard to find elsewhere. After researching their facility and all the testing, and integrative treatments they offer, I believe it’s the best possible option for me. I think a facility like this, that has things like fractionated chemo but also has a huge list of other things to offer will be my best and only shot at healing from this unfortunate diagnosis. Because if one thing doesn’t work, I can just move on to the next!

<div>The only problem is it’s extremely expensive and insurance doesn’t cover it.
</div>
<div>It’s a 10k deposit and then multiple thousands after that as the weeks go on.
</div>

<div>Usually in life, I hate asking anyone for anything. I never ask anyone for favors and have a hard time accepting help. if anyone ever asks if I need anything I usually say “no it’s all good, I’ll let you know if I need anything” and never ever do.

<div>Well…I’ve come to a place where I have to ask for help. I’ve come to a place where I’m desperate for help.

<div>On Monday, March 7th 2022 at approximately 0830 hours, Josh and Jeremy Page were involved in a major traffic collision at the corner of Newland and Yorktown in the City of Huntington Beach. A Senior at Edison High School in Huntington Beach, Josh Page tragically lost his life upon impact. His brother, a Sophomore at Edison High School, Jeremy Page was transported to a local trauma hospital where he later passed away.

<div>As you can imagine, the Page family has had their entire world flipped turned upside down. John and Shaya Page lost their two youngest sons and Jovanni lost his two younger brothers and his best friends.

The Edison High School Wrestling Team along with the Surf City Wrestling Club is trying to help assist the Page family in anyway possible. We are trying to raise funds to help cover the cost of funeral expenses for the Page family and other expenses that may need to be covered. Please donate whatever you can, every little bit will help this family who is no doubt shaken to its core.
