<div>On behalf of the Plant family, we are reaching out far and wide to honor the life of US Army Staff Sgt. Seth Plant. Seth was training in Alaska and was attacked by a bear and was not able to recover from his injuries.
</div>

<div>This son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend to many in the community will be dearly missed and his life will be well remembered for his dedication to his family, friends and nation!
</div>

<div>Please feel free to write messages and memories of love and laughter you may have shared with Seth and his family. We are also accepting donations to help with travel and costs, time off work and any unforeseen potential and/or funeral/memorial costs.
</div>

<div>This family has roots that run deep into the St Augustine community…if you didn’t know Seth, you def knew someone in his family or someone who knew them! Peace be with this family and we will update with any memorial/funeral plans as they become public!
</div>

<div>Godspeed<br /><br />(update: the military will pay for some costs, but there may be potential additional costs that will not be covered - there are many details and as time goes on we will know more and I will update - thank you for your understanding)

Seth Plants family for Memorial and Funeral costs

A 59-year-old man struck by a van early Tuesday morning on U.S. 301 was critically injured, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.<br /><br />Troopers said Eddie Brown was leaving a gas station on a bicycle, crossing 301 just north of State Road 100 about 6:10 a.m. when he was hit by a southbound Plymouth Voyager.<br /><br />Eddie Brown is well known in Starke, FL as the sweetest man! He is loved by kids and his community. He has worked for years at the Steakhouse and the Bradford Telegraph. The Steakhouse has just recently closed (so he has lost that income) and now he was hit by a vehicle this morning, right before the holidays. Let’s help get him back on his feet once he is discharged from the hospital. Last I heard, Eddie was heavily sedated and the doctors are running test. I’ll be doing my best to keep his recovery updated.

Help Eddie Brown
