Her second oldest is Ibrahim, who is 13, followed by Mohammed who is 10. Her two youngest children are Zain, who has just turned 8 years old, and Kenaz, her youngest daughter, who celebrated her 4th birthday in June. They are a family of seven who have lost everything, including their home, Omar’s two businesses and over 10 family members.

<div>Iman reached out to me in late May, via Instagram, explaining the atrocities of her situation and asking me to create a GoFundMe campaign for her.

<div>Since the 7th of October, Iman and her family have been displaced a total of 9 times. Every building, every school, and every area that the Abu Daqqa family has since resided in has been bombed, even once with white phosphorus. They have been forced to evacuate on foot each time, taking treacherous journeys through rubble, past bodies lined on the street, with snipers only feet away in the distance.

From this, we must allocate $20 for water for drinking and daily use.Another $20 for firewood to cook, as there is no gas. Flour, sometimes reaching $100 per kilo — enough to make only 10 pieces of bread for nine people. Vegetables, such as tomatoes, costing up to $100 per kilo, providing just a small portion for the meal. Other essentials, like oil, cheese, sauce, and spices, which can cost $10 per spoonful, yet are necessary to make even a simple meal edible. Even this simple meal requires careful planning and sacrifice. There were days when we had almost nothing, days when even bread was a dream.

<div>I watched my mother’s dream house reduced to rubble. I saw my father lose the building he worked his whole life for. The war came when I was 21, and I dreamed of a different future as a software engineer, working in a safe country, achieving my ambitions, and building my life.

Help the AbuDagga family evacuate from Gaza

<div>Hi, my name is Dolores Ibarra and I am la Mona's niece.

<div>In 2022 la Mona started having severe pain on the left side of her body, and if you may recall they had covid in January of 2022 and we all thought that the pain was a result of the virus. Unfortunately, the pain increased to the point that any sudden movement, carrying of something heavy, or even bending down caused an excruciating pain that left her bedridden for days.

<div>We took her to the doctor and the results came back as two tumors in her uterus pushing up against each other. The tumors are certainly the size of lemons causing the pain and it's been over a year now since the diagnosis and the only way for her to have relief is through surgery.
</div>
<div>La Mona unfortunately does not qualify for any sort of medical assistance and it has been hard for all of us to watch her in pain due to the tumors. If you know her personally you know that she is such a lively person with a big bright smile on her face. She has had a difficult life and her health issues have been limiting her day-to-day functions. We are all used to seeing her live her life to the fullest spending time with her friends and family and most importantly her beloved pets but due to the pain, she has been limiting herself.

<div>Over the past few days, the pain has gotten worse and she hasn't been able to work at all.
</div>
<div>She is a single mother living with my mom (another single mother) and while we all try to help in the most that we can $25,000.00 is not easy money to come by especially for my parents who live paycheck to paycheck.

<div>We are asking for help as our last resort. Any little that you can donate would be great. We are wanting to at least have enough for the down payment so that they can get the pain-causing tumors out of her body and bring her the relief she needs to continue living her life.
