<div>We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts to share the story of our beloved Theo, our brave 2-year-old who is fighting a challenging battle. On Sunday, July 10th Theo began experiencing right-sided spasms, weakness and the inability to walk. He was urgently taken to his pediatrician, who then referred us to a pediatric neurologist. He diagnosed Theo with Focal Cortical Dysplasia. He was started on antiepileptic medication but is still struggling with right-sided weakness and the inability to walk. As his parents, we are determined to do everything in our power to support him, but the increasing medical bills are becoming an overwhelming burden on our family.

<div>Theo was a bright-eyed, energetic, and happy child until a few weeks ago when he started experiencing focal seizures. These seizures have turned our world upside down; it is difficult to watch him when he cries as he struggles to understand why he can't run or walk like he used to or why he can't use his right hand to play.

<div>We have already had trips to urgent care facilities, specialists, and hospitals and will have more to come as we strive to find the best treatment for our little warrior.
</div>
<div>Despite the hardships, Theo's fighting spirit shines through every day, and God continues to give us strength, but we will need help with the mounting medical expenses. We are humbly asking for your help, support, and prayers during this trying time.

Help Support Theo In His Medical Journey

One year ago our dear friend, Katie Hoenscheidt, was diagnosed with an almond sized tumor in her uterus. At a recent appointment, Katie learned that the tumor has grown to the size of a cantaloupe - which, according to the doctor, is a rapid growth rate. The tumor is most likely benign but is constantly growing and needs to be removed. Without removal the tumor is at risk of rupturing, putting Katie in an emergency situation. In order to complete the removal Katie will need a hysterectomy. Unfortunately, with the tumor being so large they have passed the point of laparoscopic surgery and will need to complete the procedure through a c-section incision which will add to hospital and recovery time. <br /><br />Katie is a single mom of two beautiful girls. She works tirelessly at two jobs to provide for her daughters and give them a comfortable home. She gives of herself constantly and unconditionally. To her girls, her friends, her work and her community.  Never expecting anything in return.  She is the first to volunteer help when anyone around her is in need. <br /><br />Now Katie needs our help and we can return the favor. Katie needs $7250 by February 18 in order to complete her surgery on February 25. She does have health insurance but the coverage falls far short of what she needs to complete the procedure. The $7250 is what she needs beyond what insurance will pay for and will cover the doctors fees and her hospital stay. Without this surgery Katie risks major health complications that compromise her ability to support and care for her girls who desperately need her. <br /><br />Please, please help! Every little bit helps and will mean the world to Katie and her family.

Garry Easter was rushed to Hillcrest hospital on Tuesday morning after what was thought to be a seizure. As the week progressed we found out that he had a blood clot that erupted. When this happened he suffered from 35-40 strokes resulting in damage throughout the brain. He was kept on a ventilator through Friday morning. Donna made the decision to remove the ventilator to ensure he remained comfortable during his remaining time with us. Garry peacefully passed on Saturday at 12:29 pm surrounded by loved ones. This funding will help aid memorial costs and all expenses that are to come as Donna doesn’t know when she will be able to return to work.
