<div>Hi everyone, I am fundraising to help my beautiful mom, Faith, pay for current and future medical expenses. My mom had a terrible accident in May, three days before my high school graduation. Tragically, this left her with a broken leg, concussion, and missing teeth. When first admitted to the emergency room, the care she received was subpar, subsequently requiring two surgeries. One was to repair the broken leg and the other was from an infection, requiring her to have muscle and skin grafts.

<div>She has been experiencing so much pain from this accident and its aftermath. My mom has been in and out of the hospital since June, adding to her stress - and medical expenses. Furthermore, she will need another surgery to repair the oral damage.

<div>My mom is a massage therapist who is dedicated not only to her craft but to healing others' pain. She worked constantly and selflessly to help her clients - standing on her feet all day, every day. Sadly, my mom will not be able to work for the foreseeable future and is unable to receive unemployment, which is why we are asking for help with her loss of income and clientele.

<div>I leave for college in August, and because of how severe her injury is, she can no longer help me move in. She and I are both devastated. My mother is my rock, my support system, and one of the kindest people I know. There is a long road ahead, and I want to ensure that she has as much assistance as possible.
