<div>Shadow has been my heart and soul since I first brought him home at just six months old. Today, at almost nine years old, he is not just my dog, he is family, my constant companion, my fur baby, my protector, and yes, my grumpy old man who still manages to make me smile.

<div>Sadly, Shadow is now facing a serious <strong>health crisis.</strong> He is suffering from <strong>chronic ear infections, painful skin issues, and problems with his eyes. </strong>The worst pain comes from his ears, he has<strong> severe dog ear infections </strong>that cause him to howl in agony at random times, day and night. His cries are heartbreaking, and sometimes he growls or snaps when touched, not out of meanness, but out of pure suffering.

<div>To treat him, the vet must sedate him every <strong>single visit.</strong> On top of that, he has been diagnosed with <strong>dental infections, </strong>which require urgent veterinary care and likely<strong> dog dental surgery.</strong> Without this treatment, Shadow’s pain and health issues will only worsen.

Emergency Pet Fundraiser for Shadow Save My Beloved Dog

On September 18th, Heather discovered a lump in her left breast. Concerned and unable to sleep, she went to the emergency room where they performed an ultra sound and confirmed that there was a mass. <br />On Monday, she saw her doctor and, through a series of tests, was told on Friday that she had breast cancer. <br />Nate and Heather are currently in the process of finding the perfect treatment that will help Heather's rare form of cancer. <br />This is devastating news to Heather, Nate, the kids, and everyone who knows and loves them. We know that God is sovereign and in control and He will take care of Heather, but this is going to be an extremely stressful time for their family. They are so grateful to those of you that have already reached out looking for ways to help.
