<div>Hello, my name is Manu Intiraymi, and you might know me as Icheb from Star Trek: Voyager. I’m reaching out to you today with a heavy heart but also with hope, because I believe in the power of community and compassion—values that have always been at the core of Star Trek.

<div>Two days ago, my wife Valerie suffered a severe heart attack. It was sudden and devastating, leaving us both in shock. Valerie is currently in the hospital, fighting bravely for her recovery, but the road ahead is long and uncertain. She’s my partner, my rock, and the heart of our family. Seeing her go through this has been incredibly difficult, but what makes it even harder is the financial burden we’re facing.

Remembering Robert

On June 2, while on a family vacation in Myrtle Beach with his wife Ashley, four young children, and inlaws, Kasey Sutherland suddenly passed away at age 38.  Casey was born and raised in Anderson County, Kentucky, where he played sports, raised his family, and spent time with his family and friends.<br /><br />This is a tragic loss for Ashley and the kids and is even more heartbreaking because Kasey and Ashley lost their infant son Kashton on Feb. 25,  2015. <br /><br />The costs associated with an unexpected funeral, transporting Kasey back home to be laid to rest with Kaston, and expenses related to raising her young children by herself, and trying to work, are going to be an incredible burden for Ashley.  And to make it harder, at the end of zApril, Ashley just accepted a position at Malone's in Louisville, which is slated to open this month.  <br /><br />Ashley's family and friends understand that there is nothing we can do to ease the grief Ashley is going through.  Ashley and Kasey have been together for 10 years and their family included his son Kayden 14, and daughters Kaya 10,  Kyla 7, and Kaisley 5.<br /><br />However, we, her family and friends, started this gofundme campaign to ease the financial burden Ashley will face.  This is the one thing we can all do that can help make the healing process a little easier for her and the kids. <br /><br />Please, if you can donate anything, any amount at all, it will add up to helping Ashley have one less thing to worry about as she faces a future without her husband and the father of these four kids.<br /><br />Details of Kasey's visitation and funeral are to come. In the meantime, please keep Ashley, their children, Kasey's parents, and all of his family in your thoughts and prayers.
