<div>I’m reaching out today on behalf of my sister, Angela Morones, who would never ask for help herself, but after everything she’s been through, I am doing it for her. Angela is a fighter, a hard worker, and a woman who has always put others first, but now she needs us more than ever.

<div>It all started on February 8th. What seemed like a simple doctor’s visit for shortness of breath turned into a life-altering journey. The doctors sent her to Madison Memorial Hospital, and within hours, she was rushed to EIRMC (Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center) in an emergency situation. Angela was diagnosed with 12 pulmonary embolisms—life-threatening blood clots in her lungs that had the potential to take her life in an instant.

<div>For several days, Angela was in the ICU, unable to move or walk, as doctors treated her with clot-busting medication directly targeting the embolisms through an access point in her femoral artery. It was a harrowing, painful experience that no one should have to endure. Slowly, she began to recover enough to go home, but the road ahead was far from over.

<div>Angela now requires constant supplemental oxygen, and doctors have strictly ordered her to restrict all physical activity until they can determine the cause of the embolisms and assess the condition of her heart. After multiple visits to specialists and additional tests, it was discovered that the embolisms caused severe right-sided heart damage. While there is a possibility that her heart could heal, we don’t know for sure.

<div>She’s been told that she absolutely cannot return to work until doctors understand what’s causing these blood clots and confirm whether her heart is strong enough to handle the demands of her job. Right now, Angela is facing an uncertain future and an immense amount of stress—not only because of her health, but also because she can’t work.

<div>This is where we need your help. Angela has always been someone who would drop everything to help others. Whether it was supporting a friend in need or offering a hand to a stranger, she’s never hesitated to give. Now, it’s our turn to support her in her time of need.
