<div>Just a few weeks ago, Lynn experienced two brain aneurysms. Initially dismissed with a diagnosis of a headache at the Cobourg Hospital, she endured a subsequent seizure and was swiftly readmitted. Following extensive testing, Lynn was transferred to Kingston General Hospital, where she underwent successful surgery to treat the aneurysms.

<div>However, complications have arisen post-surgery, requiring an extended hospital stay. Throughout this ordeal, Lynn's family and friends have rallied around her, commuting back and forth, and incurring expenses for lodging, meals, and transportation. While they remain steadfast in their devotion to Lynn's recovery, the financial strain is palpable.

No parent should go through the struggle of having a child with cancer. Perry and Josee are the type of people who will help anyone and give you the shirt off their back. It's our turn to help and support them during this trying time. Help my family after a fire

Just a few weeks ago Wade was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He has started treatments and is in and out of the hospital. During this time he is unable to work and doesn’t know when he will return to work. Anyone that knows him, knows how big his heart is and he would do anything for anybody. We started this Go Fund Me to help him the with the burdens he will be facing in the future. House Fire

On Saturday July 4th my Sister, mother along with my nieces and nephews were at a campground near Perth Ontario. While enjoying a campfire an explosion happened that severely burnt my 7 year old nephew. 50% of his body has been affected and he had to be airlifted to Cheo.<img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/49434070_1594074296882989_r.jpeg" alt="49434070_1594074296882989_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" />We have found out someone had buried a small propain tank in the fire pit and police are investigating. This is a very traumatic experience not only for my nephew and my niece who also suffers burns on her thighs and legs but for the whole family. My sister is self-employed and during this time will most likely to not be able to work and have to not only figure cost of medication, medical supplies, will also have to worry about gas and bills while not having the ability to work while caring for her son. Any amount donated will help my sister and her family cover those costs and be able to focus on caring for her son and healing from such a traumatic experience. Thank you.

Those of you that know these 2 know that their inseparable! Nick’s life pretty much revolves around his dog! For anyone native to Port Hope I’m sure you’ve seen Nick and Thor walking around the downtown area. They are the  epitome of friendship between a person and their animal! <br /><br />Yesterday tragedy struck! Nick has a big fenced in back yard for Thor to roam free. Thor being a normal energetic dog he likes to chase squirrels. Well yesterday he had a little more bounce in his step than usual and normally just chases them over to the fence and that’s as far as he goes. This time he decided he was going to jump up onto the fence, he had a little bit to much momentum and accidentally went up and over the fence. On the other side there was an old concrete retaining wall that had a piece of rebar sticking up. Poor Thor landed right on top of it. The rebar impaled Thor’s chest into his lung. <br /><br />Nick rushed Thor to Peterborough Animal Hospital where they were able to save his life but now Thor needs to go to Toronto for surgery to repair the damage done on the inside. The medical procedures yesterday cost Nick $3400 which has drained his savings. They need $9000 for the surgery to happen in Toronto. I’m asking anyone for help, $1, $10,  $20   It doesn’t matter, anything helps!

He can be found volunteering with many organizations, helps with food drives, coaches multiple sports with Special Olympics, holds a position on their executive council, and the list goes on and on. He does all this while holding a full time position with Home Base Housing. He adores his family and always makes time for them, regardless of his schedule. There is nothing he won’t do for you, and now it’s time for all of us to step up and give back to this remarkable young man.<br /><br />Brock was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer.  After taking himself to the hospital when he knew something wasn’t right (his stubbornness finally pays off!), he was given the news. Before the shock could wear off for him and his family, doctors made quick decisions to start treatment right away. He began his first 5-day chemo cycle on Saturday, January 20 with three weeks of rest and recuperation to follow. This routine will repeat for three more rounds, after which surgery will be discussed.<br /><br />Brock is the strongest person we know. He is in good spirits, continuing to show strength physically and mentally. His family and friends are supporting him with around the clock care, visits, and distractions. It is a long road, but Brock is expected to make a full recovery. We are all behind him, 100%. <br /><br />Brock will be off work for the next six months as he battles and beats this disease. We are raising funds to help alleviate the strain of loss wages, rent, bills, and medical care. We know Brock would be the first person to help any of us, and any monetary support given will add up to and surpass our goal.<br /><br />Keep checking back to Bucks for Brock for pictures, stories, and medical updates.
