24 hours, one track- run till failure.

As a warm up for the 6 continent challenge. On Saturday 9th November 2024,  I will be attempting to see how many Kilometres I can run in a 24 hour time limit. No social media, no distractions- only Strava, bit of music and pure tarmac. It won’t be a quick pace but my aim is to try and aim for as many miles as possible.

It will be exhausting, painful and most of all the toughest mental battle yet but I will be doing it all to raise awareness for mental health and money for the mind charity.

Hello, I’m marcus and for the next on the 7th September I will be attempting a marathon (26.2 miles or 41KM) in London to raise money for MIND and to raise awareness for mental health. For the last 3 years I have been suffering with bad mental health, including suicidal thoughts, depression and OCD intrusive thoughts. MIND holds a very close place in my heart and what they do for speaking out and helping people is truly incredible.  Having lost a friend to the battle and having family who have suffered in the past, my goal is to spread the word of mental health and make people realise it is OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY. Speaking out is such a beautiful thing and it genuinely does save lives!! On the 7th September, I will be travelling to London to completed 26 miles of running alongside Russ Cook who to be honest is my biggest inspiration. Honestly can’t wait!  Mental health matters

Running a marathon for mind and mental health.

From the first of April. I will be running a mile a day for a month to spread awareness and try raise money for mental health.  Having lost friends to the battle, having family struggle with it as well struggling with depression myself- It’s always been a mission of mine to spread as much awareness for mental health as possible and try help others out.  Every day without fail I will push myself to my max and do a mile run. There will be no excuses!  I did this a few years ago (in all fairness lot less fat then) for Alzheimer’s another charity close to my heart. Any donations would be incredibly appreciated but not expected. Always here for a chat, remember your not alone ❤️
