<div>Cassiee &amp; Carl found out they were expecting their last child together in May of 2024, a baby girl they would later name Scarlett. Everything was going well until their 20 week anatomy scan when their baby was diagnosed with AV Canal Defect(a rare condition that creates a hole in her heart separating the chambers of the heart). This diagnosis meant that their baby would need open heart surgery shortly after being born.

<div>During Cassiee’s pregnancy she was closely monitored which lead to an overnight stay at the hospital on November 25th, 2024. During this stay they realized Cassiee had a problem with her uterus from a former Emergency C-Section. After monitoring her closely they realized she also was presenting with contractions and some pain and discomfort. Tuesday, November 26th, they consulted with a neonatal team in Portland to gather some more information on Cassiee’s situation as well as consult with them about the condition of Scarlett’s health. They decided that even though she was only 32 weeks, to go ahead and schedule a C Section for later that day.

<div>Scarlett was born at 32 weeks and is considered stable right now, however her journey medically is not over. Cassiee and Carl are both out of work during this current time and have 5 other children at home to care for. They will have countless trips to either Portland or Boston for their daughter and will be spending money on hotels, gas, food, and other expenses that may arise. With them both being out of work right now, this puts a huge financial stress on their family.

Help Cassiee & Carl with Baby Scarlett's Medical Journey

<div>Kevin passed away unexpectedly Saturday September 14, 2024. Kevin always was willing to lend a hand or help someone out. He has left behind so many memories and loved ones. Everyone who knew Kevin knows he loved his 4 kids with all his heart. We are going to make sure his kids are taken care of for him! We ask in lieu of any flowers you donate to help us take care of his babies. We have a rough road as we try to heal from this loss but will always make sure his kids are taken care of and know he loved them! <div>This afternoon my pup Muna was hit by a truck after digging a hole under the fence of my yard. I quickly rushed her to the emergency vet in Portland where she has to undergo surgery. As much as I hate to ask for help, it is going to be a hefty bill and I could use any help that I can get ❤️ She will need multiple X-rays and has to stay there a few days to be monitored.

<div>Hi, my name is Shelby.  I never thought I'd do one of these, but I'm really desperately wanting to try to find some way to help my parents out. They have never had a lot and live with the minimal, but have always given what they could to help others, especially my mom.

<div>My mom recently had trouble walking and it was found she had a blood clot. She had surgery and thought she was better but still couldn't get around good.  She ended up in total with 3 clots, one after the other,  with no known cause. She has been cleared of blood clots but is waiting for further testing because she is still not getting around well.
</div>
<div>While off from work he employer dropped her to relief status which caused her to lose her medical benefits. She had tried to get help with medical so she she don't need to worry while continuing her medical care but they claim my dad makes too much money.  My dad does not make much at all. He makes barely above minimum wage and he is almost 70yrs old. He has also been having trouble medically and fears he may need to get done work soon.

<div>They are both very hard working people and do not like to be out of work, and sitting around. This is not normal for them to not work and need help. 
</div>
<div>My mom has been under a lot of stress worrying about medical bills,  and regular household bills. I want to help them so bad, but I don't have the extra financial means.

<div>They would never ask for money,  so I'm going to try this and see if I can get them just a little help to ease their stress and worries while they heal and get back on their feet.

<div>on June 20th, 2021 my brother Terry went missing while dealing with severe depression, after almost 5 months of searching and praying that we would bring Terry home safe, on 10/31 we were faced with news that no family ever wants to hear.  My family will lay my brother to rest on 11/13/2021. As most of you know we also just buried my step dad (Terry Sr) about two weeks ago and 2 unexpected, unprepared funerals is more than any family can handle. I know that a lot of people did donate to help us lay Terry Sr to rest and I do not expect everyone to be able to donate twice but please share away! We hate that we have to do a go fund me but under the circumstances we could really use all the help we can get to give my brother the proper service. Funeral Services for my brother Terry Jr

As I sit to write this I pause and say a quick prayer - "Words don't fail me now!" We all had a 2020 that seemed to come from the depths of Hell and we all entered 2021 with the bright hope of a better year.   Tragically,  that hope was ripped from the lives of  our very dear friends, Jen LeBlanc, Chuck Sellick, and Brice LeBlanc on Thursday when their beautiful daughter Icesis passed away suddenly and unexpectedly.  In the blink of an eye their beloved daughter and the much loved sister of Audri, Reilly, Elias, Ethan, Jace, and Gabe was gone.  There will forever be an empty place at the  family BBQ's, no more sibling squabbles, no late night phone calls, and there will be one less stocking on the mantle at Christmas. Now when that special song comes on the radio or some momentous moment happens in their lives no one can pick up the phone and share it with Icesis, no one will hear her laughter echo through the house or lift her spirits when she is down.  Jen LeBlanc, Chuck Sellick, and Brice LeBlanc mastered something few ever master, the art of a loving, happy blended family, raising  7 intelligent, polite, well spoken children.   Icesis was the second eldest and the most troubled, she battle a demon know as Addiction and sadly it was this demon that took her from the family that loved her.  I know this demon, he haunts my own family, my youngest son has battled him for years.  I was so impressed and inspired by how open and frank Jen was about Icesis's battle, how she shared the raw emotions and the fears, the successes and the setbacks.  Audri, the eldest,  is an adult blazing her own path in life. The boys, actually young men is more accurate, are in various stages of college, receiving college acceptance letters or finishing high school.  The family has faced all that life and 2020 could throw at them and emerged a united family.  We can all tell the stories of recent slow downs and economic impact from COVID-19 now add to that raising 5 (hungry) young men and finances get a little more difficult.  As if life was rubbing salt in their open wounds on Monday, January 18th Jen and Chuck tested Positive for COVID-19 and were put in quarantine.  Still sick and feeling the effects of COVID-19, late Thursday January 21st, Jen received "THE CALL" and her world imploded.  You know "THE CALL" it is the one that every parent has dreaded from the moment their child took their first breath - the one that tells you they have taken their last breath.  No parent is prepared to hear those words and most of us, if we are honest, have not prepared to send our child to eternal rest.  This is a family that is always there to lend a helping hand to a friend, a family that is deeply involved in school sports and the community.  This family has been the rock for each other and many others in our community, now the entire family needs the love, support and help of the community.  Please help them send Icesis on her final journey.  No donation is too small, literally every dollar is a dollar closer to helping this tremendous family.  If you are not able to donate (everyone understands so no judgement) please take 2 minutes and share this GoFundMe to honor the life of Icesis and the love of her family.   It is the family's wish that any funds over and above what is needed for Icesis's final arrangements be donated to Crossroads Maine Rehabilitation Center.

The sweet dog in this picture is Nika. She is the face of no bowl empty pet food pantry which is run by her mom Nadine. They help feed over 400 pets in need. Nika was once used as a bait dog for dog fighting. Nika does not let that start in life define her. She exudes pure love and joy to everyone she meets. This photo shows her giving one of her awesome full body hugs to a stranger at one of the pantry fundraising events. Nika does not have an ear canal in her right ear. This has caused horrible infections and recurrent abscesses. She was supposed to go see a specialist for possible surgery later this month which as you can imagine is very expensive. Her mom does everything that is needed for Nika and never complains or asks for help even though her own health struggles drain their funds. Nika needed to be brought to the animal emergency clinic this morning because the abscess has grown even more. Nadine hates to ask for help so I am doing it for her. If you can help please do! Joseph, or as many know him, Joey, is currently battling an unexpected heart illness.  He is a loving and kind soul that has brought much joy to all those he has come into contact with. This disease came on suddenly and has progressed quickly however he is resting comfortably in a hospice center surrounded by his family and friends. Due to the rapid progression of his disease we have not had much time to prepare for his services. He has made his wishes clear and our hope is to honor each one of them when his time on this Earth is over and God takes him home. By reaching our goal we will be able to do this for him. He has so much support in this battle, he and his family are extremely grateful for this. July 21st 2019 started off like any other day for the Tambone family. My sister and brother in-law took their daughter Harper over to my dad’s house to enjoy some playtime in the pool. Later that night Harper seemed to be her normal silly self, but within a matter of seconds everything changed. Her body turned completely blue and she passed out. This was something that neither my sister or brother in-law could see coming. After a trip the ER and several tests later, their only conclusion was she experienced an episode of “breath- holding spell”. With the doctor’s approval, they were released and sent home. The following day Harper seemed to be back to her normal self again. Spent most of the morning playing, eating and doing what any typical 1.5-year-old would do. Later that day my sister laid Harper down for her usual afternoon nap. She placed her in the crib and shut the door. Moments later, she heard what sounded like something hitting the floor. After looking at the monitor, Harper looked to be sleeping peacefully. That was not enough to ease my sisters mind, so she decided to head back into her room to observe a little more. That’s when Sammie found Harper laying completely blue and unconscious in her crib. After calling 911 she prepared herself to perform CPR. Thankfully Harper began breathing again before the first responders arrived. She was rushed into Maine Medical Center and observed by a handful of doctors. After a few days of being monitored for seizure like episodes and no real conclusion as to why this kept happening, she was once again sent home. Less than 36 hours later Harper experience yet another episode and landed back in the hospital.<br /><br />1 month later and Harper currently resides at Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital. My sister and brother in-law have watched their little girl go from living her best days, to being confined to a feeding tube and limited time outside of her hospital room. At this point, everything has become a waiting game. Their team of doctors have spent weeks running multiple test, ruling out a handful of reasons as to why their little girl is suffering. We still do not have an answer for any of this, nor is there a plan on when they will be able to go home. Once Harper is well enough to return home, she will require the feeding tube to help bring her weight back up as she has dropped down to 15lbs. Her recovery does not end there, she will need multiple visit a week with her primary care doctor until there are no signs of worrisome. As you can imagine this has taken a major toll on not only their freedom, but financially. My sister has not been able to leave the hospital or attend work in over a month. Mike has had to completely re-adjust his everyday schedule so that he can not only continue working to provide for his girls, but also find the additional time needed for the hospital, as well as attending to their beloved dog Marley at home.<br /><br />My family and I are coming together to help give them the support they truly need. Any act of kindness will go a long way. Money is not always the resolution when a family is need, but it certainly can help take a load of stress off their shoulders. We can ALL show support in one way or another. If you’d like to help with a home cooked meal- let me know. I can provide you with a list of things they love. Harper's road to recovery!

My name is Christine Verrill, my father, Tim Verrill, was a Union Boiler Maker for 36 years out of Local 29 in Boston MA, and retired three years ago. He has been an amazing dad to my older brother, and I. I want to do everything I can to help him like he has always helped others. My dad recently just went though a liver transplant. He's been in out of three different hospitals within the span of four months. He had gone through internal bleeding, kidney failure, liver failure, and infection. He is currently going through liver transplant recovery, dialysis three times a week for four hours each time, and recovering from the infection. My family is currently working on paying for the bills that coincides with the surgery, many procedures, and the at home nurse he needs to maintain his medications and to make sure his liver is not rejected. My dad makes everyone he meets laugh and is always able to brighten anyones day. Tim's Liver Transplant Recovery

As many know, Roger Laganiere was in a bad motorcycle crash late Friday night, and was left with a brain injury in the ICU. He's stable but needs lots of prayers.
