His Girls Tyanna and Trinity Care for him 24 hours a day for the last 8 months. We are asking for funds to help pay for his funeral arrangements. <div>Liz suddenly passed Saturday, July 8th due to complications from strep and pneumonia. She battled for 36 hours with the best efforts from hospital staff in Reno.

Liz Strand Memorial Fund

<span style="color:rgb(51,51,51);">Hello everyone… we have some amazing news. Shaylie has been accepted to attend an intensive therapy program that is designed to help kids with Traumatic Brain Injuries. In case you are new to knowing us Shaylie was hit by a car in a crosswalk at age 3. Due to her a brain injury she lost everything she knew. At Age 4 she was evaluated as a 5 month old. She couldn’t sit up, walk, talk, or eat. We have been on a 4 1/2 year long road to recovery. She is now 8 1/2 with an estimated evaluation of 6 1/2 years old. <br />       The intensive therapy program is called Napa Center, Napacenter.org if you want to look it up, it’s so interesting. She will be in the program for 3 weeks for 5 hours a day. During the 5 hours they use amazing therapy tools like Neurosuits, Dynamic Movement Intervention, Spidercage, Redcord System  (an active neuromuscular treatment) and Theratogs (an undergarment orthotic). These amazing tool are designed to re- train the brain to communicate proper alignment to the body so our sweet girl can run, jump, and ride scooters again. Yes Lord!!<br />        Napa Centers (no where near Napa California) are all over the country Boston, Austin, Chicago, Denver, and Los Angeles. We are on the waiting list for all locations during summer break and are booked for one October 2025. <br />      Shaylie and I (Erica) will travel together and stay the entire 3 weeks. Emma and Shannon will stay home in Reno. We hope that Shannon and Emma will get to join us at the end of each trip as it nice for them both to get to see Shaylie’s improvements. We are reaching out for help with cost of travel, food, rental car, and gas during the 6 weeks Shaylie and I are traveling.  We know this program will get her the changes that we dream of. We have been to 4 already and it has completely changed her. We have been on a long and slower than expected road to recovery. We pray this will get all of us the results we dream of full recovery. We pray this message find you all healthy and happy. We can’t wait to share as we tackle this next journey. </span>

He was a loving, funny, sweet boy whose smile lit up the room when he walked in! Knowing Tenny made you feel special, as if he liked you best. He had a huge personality that touched everyone he met, leaving a lasting impression on  the many hundreds of people whose got the chance to meet and know him.<br /><br />Funerals are expensive and we would like to give people an opportunity to help this sweet, loving family who  shared the light and spirit that was Tenny  for the last 15 years. Hello family and friends. Some of you don't know, and I can't even believe these words are coming out of my mouth. On April 21st 2019, Easter, 4 days before her 32nd birthday. My beautiful wife Jessica Stokes had multiple heart attacks, damaging and collapsing her left artery on her heart. Our new life consists of multiple weekly doctor appointments, 8 new daily medications, morning and night vitals monitoring and a panel of doctors trying to figure out the next step. She is a candidate for heart bypass surgery but because of the complexity of the surgery, no one in Nevada is willing and or able to do it. The good news is we found a Heart Surgeon in California at Stanford University willing to do a potential permanent bypass surgery. The image's have been sent and we're waiting on a greenlight call to leave immediately. Unfortunately Jessica and I are both self-employed and well be there for up to 10 weeks with potential 6 month recovery time. I just want to say thanks to everyone who has reached out and for your much needed prayers. Anything helps and God bless.
