<div>My name is Omar, founder of <strong>We Feed Gaza</strong>. We are an independent Catholic movement to feed and aid starving families in Gaza. As of today, we have distributed <strong>290,000+ liters of fresh water</strong>,<strong> 10,600+ treats for children</strong>,<strong> 6,200+ meals</strong>, and a combination of meats, vegetables, fruits, biscuits, cheeses, juices, milk, tea, rice, eggs, lentils, pasta, hummus, tuna, bread, flour, salt, oil, sugar, yeast, jam, dough, chocolate, pastries, indomie, eggplant, tomato sauce, canned foods, medicine, vitamins, shampoo, blankets, diapers, baby starch, and toys for <strong>18,847 families</strong>. We have successfully prepared, distributed, and cooked food aid packages almost daily!

<div>We have<strong> </strong>food distributors in the heart of Gaza. We are 100% organized, 100% grassroots, and 100% independent. Some of our achievements include:<strong> food aid for families cleaning rubble in Khan Younis</strong>, <strong>medicine for chronic heart patients</strong>,<strong> Eid Mubarak sheep for 150 families</strong>, <strong>a 16,000+ liter water drive for 300 families</strong>, <strong>2,400 diapers for 50 infants and 10 special needs people</strong>,<strong> 5,000 fresh chicken wings for 334 families</strong>, <strong>veal meat and rice meals for 1,900 children</strong>, <strong>700 kg of fruits + vegetables for 35 families</strong>, <strong>and a rice bowl drive for 213 extended families of 6-12 each</strong>!

<div>A<strong> basic meal</strong> costs <strong>$17-$20</strong>. Until recently, all donations came from my brother Alex, and I. We are not millionaires, just working-class people. We have spent over <strong>$23,000</strong> in personal funds, wages, and savings to help feed Gaza. Now we are asking for your support, your donations, and your prayers...<strong>help us to keep going</strong>,<strong> help us to expand</strong>,<strong> and help us to inspire others</strong>!

<div>A <strong>small donation </strong>will help others immediately. A <strong>$25</strong> gift helps <strong>one family for</strong> <strong>1-2 days</strong> or <strong>one child for 2-3 days</strong>. My distributors document everything, purchase goods in bulk, offset people's lost income, and spread food and aid to the poorest and "least of us". To understand fully, milk is <strong>$30/gallon</strong>, beef is <strong>$45/lb</strong>, chicken is <strong>$25/lb</strong>, bananas are <strong>$11/lb</strong>, apples are<strong> $9/lb</strong>, and potatoes are <strong>$5/lb</strong>. Extraordinary efforts require extraordinary care!

<div>Due to the <strong>Gaza War</strong>, people are without <strong>water</strong>, <strong>food</strong>, <strong>medicine</strong>, <strong>electricity</strong>, <strong>reliable</strong> <strong>internet</strong>, <strong>schools</strong>, <strong>hospitals</strong>, <strong>housing</strong> <strong>units</strong>,<strong> places of worship</strong>, <strong>disease is rampant</strong>, <strong>money is scarce</strong>, <strong>rubble surrounds civilians</strong>, <strong>and there are ongoing military threats</strong>. There are <strong>2.1 million people </strong>in Gaza, it is <strong>365 square kilometers</strong> long, <strong>80-90%</strong> are starved or displaced, and most of them are <strong>under age 18</strong>. As you can see, we have much work to do!

<div>Since March 31st, I have received <strong>pictures</strong>, <strong>videos</strong>, <strong>audio</strong> <strong>records</strong>, <strong>price</strong> <strong>lists</strong>, <strong>medical</strong> <strong>papers</strong>, <strong>and</strong> <strong>screenshots of conversations </strong>detailing the terrible lives of Gaza civilians. We have verified families in<strong> unsanitary tents</strong>, <strong>bombed out homes</strong>, <strong>overcrowded camps, flooded areas,</strong> <strong>and torn shacks</strong>. These are men, women, and children in <strong>filthy clothes</strong>, <strong>worn out shoes</strong>, <strong>crude kitchens</strong>, <strong>and slum spaces</strong>. Their endurance is beyond astounding!

<div>I'm <strong>Roman Catholic</strong>. I was born to scriptural parents. As a devout Christian, I feel a true obligation to help the poor and homeless. I was touched by the stories of <strong>families struggling</strong>, <strong>children begging for food</strong>, <strong>cries of injured people</strong>, <strong>entire neighborhoods bombed</strong>, <strong>and</strong> <strong>the terrible loss of life</strong>. Shortly after Easter Sunday, I began reaching out to families on Facebook, asking for pictures and videos, and confirming their situation!

<div>We Feed Gaza volunteers are <strong>trusted</strong> <strong>leaders</strong>, each of them are <strong>Palestinian</strong>, they receive <strong>weekly</strong> <strong>salaries</strong>, and most have experienced <strong>intense</strong> <strong>hardship</strong>. They have worked through the following: <strong>bombs and shelling</strong>, <strong>desperate and starving crowds</strong>, <strong>prolonged distances to serve more</strong>, <strong>grieving mothers and traumatized orphans</strong>, <strong>and the death of loved ones</strong>. Gaza has lost <strong>70,000+</strong> human beings. This campaign honors their service!

<div>We wish to provide <strong>daily meals</strong>, <strong>healthy food items</strong>, <strong>medicine for the sick</strong>, <strong>and</strong> <strong>treats for kids with malnutrition</strong>. Some do not receive humanitarian aid for 7-8 months. We have 3 main food distributors: <strong>Wesam</strong> (Rafah), <strong>Ahlam</strong> (South Khan Younis), <strong>Kemo</strong> (East Khan Younis), and 2 junior distributors: <strong>Hussein</strong> (videographer), and <strong>Ramez </strong>(caregiver).
