Help My Brother Save His Leg

<div>Hi everyone. My name is Jimmy, and my very good friend Telma recently suffered two sudden strokes, and is in need of any help that could be generously provided, to help with the medical bills from her recent hospitalization, and continuing recovery. Telma is a single mother of two amazing young boys, and juggles being a single mother with her full time job, as well as her part time photography business.  Many of you know her through the photography business.  Fortunately, the two strokes she suffered were not completely debilitating strokes, and she has now started with her recovery, but she has lingering physical challenges and limitations, and is facing multiple upcoming specialist doctor visits in the very near future, to determine the cause of these strokes, to find a solution, and how she can prevent future strokes from occurring. In addition, she is now saddled with the bills from her emergency hospitalization, and these costs are simply overwhelming.  For those of you that know Telma, and her boys, you already know what a wonderful person she is. She and her boys are caring, generous, loving, outgoing people, and if the tables were turned, she would definitely be contributing to another person's GoFundMe, in an effort to help.  So many people have already reached out, expressing their concerns, and the outpouring of care and positivity has been so helpful and heart warming. Please help Telma with her stroke recovery

I have created this fund to help my brother Tony Marques. This is a difficult thing to do. Asking for financial help sucks, but we are always helping others, so we decided to reach out all our friends and family. Tony had not been feeling well for a few weeks. After a few tests, he has now been diagnosed with liver cancer. We don't know stages yet or many details. There is still a lot of other testing that needs to be done, but one thing that doesn't wait is the hospital bills that have already begun to arrive. Unfortunately, like many Americans, He does not have health insurance and hasn't been able to work for a few weeks already. If you know my brother, you know that he has the biggest heart and is always ready to help others. If you can donate, we are very grateful. Denise Braga (Simao) Graca, 36, passed away, peacefully, at her home in Union, on Saturday, November 24, 2018 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Jauru, Mato Grosso, Brazil and came to the United States in 1998, resided in Newark, NJ before moving to Union in 2003.<br /><br />Beloved wife of Nuno Cardoso Graca; daughter of Milton and Selma Simao; devoted and loving mother of Anthony, Samantha and Dylan; sister of Lay’s Simao; daughter in-law of Julio and Lucilia Graca; also survived by many dear aunts, uncles, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, cousins nieces and nephews.<br /><br />The Union Soccer Club would like to hold a GoFund Me account for the next couple of days to help with her kids during this time of the year.

They come from various towns in Somerset County and their ages range between 8 and 10. These girls have worked so hard and have accomplished so much this year. Help Get WH JPW Cheer To Nationals!

A loving mother to a spunky 8 year old boy and wife, Ester was diagnosed with stomach cancer for the first time 6 years ago at the age of 33.  With a love for life and a stubborn determination to fight, she underwent a partial stomach removal followed by rounds of chemotherapy.  After almost a year of fighting, she was finally given the news that the cancer was gone.... she had beat this monster!  The years following were full of tests and scares but always with the eventual good news that the scans were clear.  This past fall, just at the 5 year mark where she would now only be tested once per year, the scan was not clear... the cancer had returned.  She has begun the journey again, undergoing prolonged chemotherapy treatments this time and searching for any other alternative treatments to fight and beat this disease...  This is her story, her battle and we are eternally grateful for any help you can offer in this fight.

The story which I am about to tell is not being told for others to feel bad for or pity us; but rather being a simple way to keep our daughters' Gianna and Gabriela's names alive for now and into the future.  The one thing that any bereaved parent wants to hear is keeping their children's' names remembered and never to be forgotten.  It has been almost 5 years since we had last seen or held them in our arms, and we would give anything to have that moment one more time.   We know this is not possible, however, and we will not see them again until we leave this earth.  This year our daughters would have been attending kindergarten and their 5th birthday is in less than 2 weeks. Instead of birthday gifts we would appreciate any donation to help someone else.  This is why we have decided that the next best thing to do  would be to help a person or a family who is in desperate need.  This donation will be in our daughters' names on an annual basis which will keep their spirits alive forever.  This is truly our goal and I am hoping each and every one of you can help us reach our desired outcome.  Every dollar will count and this can truly help a a person or family who needs the help.<br /><br />Although our daughters were only here a short time, they have taught us many valuable lessons that we try to apply to our lives everyday.  The one which we try to always remember is that life is short and to live every day like it is your last.  At the blink of an eye, your entire life can simply change forever. <br />

I am a single mother of two. Due to recently becoming unemployed, I lost the ability to afford medical insurance. I had been paying for it on my own for the last 3 years, since my job no longer offered employee group coverage. I felt that being symptom free for the last 18 years, that a few months without insurance wouldn't make much of a difference. I would seek a job which would provide me with health benefits. Regretfully, as fate would have it, I was stopped dead in my tracks. <BR><BR>Charity Care can be granted in the state you reside. Unfortunately, there is no physician in NJ who can help me. Therefore, getting financial assistance in another state may be impossible. I need your help. Any help &amp;/or guidance would be greatly appreciated. <BR><BR>Approximately 6 weeks ago I woke up with a terrible pain in my right hand mostly between my index &amp; middle fingers. I had an MRI which revealed a new mass this time the size of a small lemon also on the brachial plexus. Progressively I am losing the feeling &amp; strength in my arm each day. I have terrible pain, numbness, tingling &amp; burning in the muscles throughout my arm &amp; there are a lot of snap, crackle &amp; pop noises with motion. A few days ago I also began to feel bug-like crawling sensations across the top of my hand.<BR><BR>Although this current chapter in my life begins 6 weeks ago, the book began 40 years ago. I was born in Portugal on July 20, 1970 &amp; at age 2 my father noticed a small lump on the left side of my neck. My mother took me to the hospital. The doctors there were perplexed by the condition but nonetheless decided to operate as well as radiation, as they believed it was cancer. At age 5 I began to complain of an itch on the left side of my neck &amp; again the doctors operated on me. This time partially removing the upper lobe of my left lung &amp; damaging the brachial plexus. I still do not understand to this day why I do not sweat on my left side. At age 7 I moved to the USA &amp; my parents were advised to have a chest X-ray done annually &amp; we did. Unfortunately both tumor &amp; scar tissue show up as shadow &amp; the residual tumor went undetected. I never really had any symptoms. In late 1994 I had a minor car accident &amp; was treating with a neurologist who sent me for an MRI because I was complaining of some numbness in the fingertips of my left hand. The MRI revealed a mass the size of a coconut on the left cervical/thoracic spine. In March of 1995, I had surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NY. It took Dr Jatin Shah (chief head &amp; neck), Dr Manjit Bains (thoracic) &amp; Dr Mark Bilsky (neurosurgeon) 11 hours to perform the surgery by means of sawing my sternum in half in order to remove the ganglioneuroma. My anatomy had now grown "around" the tumor &amp; my spine was really bent &amp; twisted. Since the mass is located on the spine &amp; compressing the nerve roots, they were not able to remove it completely without paralyzing my arm (s) &amp; so it would continue to grow. After Dr Shah discharged me, I continued to see Dr Bilsky at MSKCC until 2003 &amp; after that I saw Dr Michael Schulder at UMDNJ for a couple of years. He now practices at North Shore University Hospital. I spoke to him a few days ago &amp; was very surprised that although I haven't seen him in almost 10 years, he remembered me quite well. Or should I say, he remembered me by my rare medical condition. <BR><BR>That was then, this is now. In the past week I have been to Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick, NJ &amp; UMDNJ in Newark, NJ where I was informed that there are very few specialists in the country who can &amp; will operate on tumors involving the brachial plexus. Robert Heary, MD of UMDNJ referred me to Allen Maniker, MD of Beth Israel Medical Center in NY. I am still waiting for an answer from him. <BR><BR>Sincerely,<BR><BR>Maria D. Giardelli
