<div>First of all, I am feeling quite embarrassed to have to create a GoFundMe page, but I would like to share a little bit of background context about why… I wouldn't be asking for help if I didn't truly need financial support from you, my closest friends and family.

<div>I have an insurmountable expense coming up in 10 days of 200,000 Thai Baht (6,000 USD) as a deposit for my working permit and visa and health insurance to be able to stay in Thailand, legally and do the work I love to do through EQ for kidz, including growing a parent community to support moms and dads in Bangkok to raise children with high emotional intelligence.

<div>Sometimes I feel like I am living my dreams and staying true to my purpose (in many ways, that is still true!) but many times, it feels I am just surviving and scraping by as every ounce of my energy goes into my work and anything earned goes back into the business expenses. On this journey of being a sole entrepreneur, without any extra backing or financial support, it’s been a lot of trial and error. Over the past 5 years, I have done the best I can with what I have. But now, I am at a crossroads where I truly need help - otherwise, my dream might not live on.

<div>Last year, 2024, brought with it many challenges that I wasn't prepared for including two concussions and being diagnosed with chronic migraines (including very expensive medication), two motorbike accidents  which took me time off work to recover and over 100,000 Thai Baht spent on Physiotherapy and Hospital appointments.  I was unable to function as I normally do because of all of these health issues and it, of course, took a toll on my mental health as well. I considered asking for help back then, but it takes true humility and I was somehow able to scrape together from my savings.

<div>I’m feeling better overall now, but it’s left me in survival mode financially. Then, last month, the process to obtain my visa stamp to be able to return home took much longer than expected and I was stuck overseas in Malaysia for 18 days, spending money that I didn't have on hotels and food. I'm so grateful to my partner Kush for supporting me through that, but I can't ask him to give any more from his savings.

<div>On my 36th year around the sun, I have many Big Dreams for my life and work.  I want to continue to grow the parent community which is now supporting over 60 parents here in Bangkok, I want to create a training program for other EQ coaches, I want to work with more schools, I want to set up back in systems for my business that will help EQ for kidz be more sustainable for the long run. None of these things would happen if I can’t find the money to invest in my visa and work permit on March 18th.
