Help Us Heal and Rebuild On Saturday, November 15th, 2025, I faced the devastating loss of my beloved mother, Mrs. Catherine Mahouve Same, in a tragic fire at our shared apartment on Roosevelt Island, NY. When I returned home that evening, I was met with the heartbreaking news from the police that my mother had passed away. All our belongings were lost in the fire, leaving me to start anew from ground zero. In the coming months, I must cover funeral and burial expenses, as well as tuition costs and new living arrangements.
