<div>This GoFundMe is raising funds for Racheal Dahler who has Cystic Fibrosis, a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs.

<div>In December 2013, Racheal received a double lung transplant. Because of this, she has lived a wonderful life for the past decade. Racheal became a mother to two beautiful girls and is currently a foster parent to another. She has also had an opportunity to be an amazing aunt to many nieces and nephews. Racheal has spoiled those around her with delicious sweet treats for years.

<div>Unfortunately, Racheal has also struggled with many bouts of rejection over the years. These complications are outside of her control, and despite her healthy lifestyle and daily fight to live, she is in need of a second transplant.

<div>Racheal’s career as a hair stylist flourished until the pandemic, as she had to step away from the public to keep herself healthy. 
</div>

<div>Therefore, all funds raised will help with the plethora of expenses that will be incurred during her transplant. For example, the cost of a hotel for Racheal and a caregiver, as she will have many appointments during the first few weeks after being discharged, so it will be best to stay close by the hospital. After that, funds will help with the cost of gas cost to travel back and forth to Madison, WI for additional follow-up appointments for a year following the transplant. It will also help with other expenses during the time of her transplant.

Racheal Dahler’s Fight for a Lung Transplant

Amarion Green, 17 year old junior of Sterling High was in a fatal car accident Sunday February 9th. He was also a beloved employee of the downtown Sterling Theater. Amarion participated in multiple sports throughout his years at the high school. He left behind his loving mother Antionette Jones and two younger sisters Jaylah and Joslyn. We are asking for your support for this family as they have a long and difficult road ahead of them. She has been off of work since the accident and will be for some time to give herself time to cope with the loss of her first born and aide her daughters as they grieve the loss of their brother. Amarion was Antionette’s Pooh-Man and her only son that she did everything she could for and was always there for him through everything. She is always willing to lend a helping hand to any and everyone that asks her and did so without any complaints. We ask and are thankful for amount of support that is given and will be used to help the family will all of their regular financial needs as these will continue to add up while she is off of work. At their first ultrasound they were given the unimaginable news that their unborn baby was being diagnosed with a condition called anencephaly. Children born with anencephaly typically only live hours. Ana and Romeo made the decision to carry the baby to full term. They truly felt the unconditional love that every parent feels for their child. Although the pregnancy was a rollercoaster of emotions one thing was certain their baby was loved by so many. The support from family members and friends meant the world to them. On 12/10/19 Ana and Romeo Alvarado delivered a beautiful baby boy who they named Angel Jose into this world. They felt blessed by God to have been able to spend some precious moments with their son before he was welcomed into the gates of Heaven. The family is currently serving in the US Navy and stationed in Honolulu Hawaii. Their wish is to take baby Angel home to be laid to rest in Sterling, Illinois. This Go Fund Me has been set up to assist with bringing baby Angel, mom and dad  home and cost associated with funeral expenses.
