<div>I've known Alex since my early college days through family friends, and as fate would have it, we later worked together at Robert Half. We both started our careers together many years ago, and I'm lucky enough to call her not only my friend but also my boss.

<div>Alex and her two children, Anneliese and William, lived in the Palisades, and unfortunately, their home was destroyed. They have lived in that house for the last 18 years, and this is the only home her children have ever known. On Tuesday, I could see the fire starting to burn from our building and had no idea of the magnitude and devastation that would follow. Alex rushed home from our Pasadena office to get William, and I spoke with her as she was heading to evacuate with both of her children in the car. William's school was also partially destroyed in the fire.

<div>I'm hoping that you can donate and share so that <strong>Alex and her children can cover expenses that might not be covered with other sources of aid. </strong>Alex is one of the most resilient and positive people I know. She is a phenomenal leader and is extremely involved in fundraising for her children's school. My heart breaks for her and her family. I know that Alex and her family will get through this incredibly difficult time, and any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. The money will be spent to help them through this challenging time.

Aid Alexandra's Family After Fire Tragedy

<div>Six years ago I appealed to your goodness on behalf of our daughter Jessica, her husband Cory and family because of their homes being destroyed in Paradise, CA. Incredibly, tragedy has struck our family once again. This time it has affected our son, Chris, his wife Corinna and family. Their home in Altadena was destroyed in the Eaton Fire. Whatever can be raised on their behalf will help them in navigating their horrible situation. ALTADENA STRONG!

Help Chris & Corinna After Eaton Fire Loss

There aren’t enough words to described how wonderful of a person Fanny (pictured left) is. I have known Fanny for 4 years now and she has been a constant source of love, inspiration and support. Fanny has worked for a sorority that I am a member of for 23 years now.  She comes to work everyday and there isn’t a thing she wouldn’t do for us. Fanny works paycheck to paycheck to support herself and her family. She has been saving for 2 years now to put a down payment on a car, but I don’t want her to worry about that. I want to get her a car because she deserves it more than anyone I know. Her story is unbelievable and  she has never once lost her spark of enthusiasm and laughter . <br /><br />Her current car is beat up. I’m talking the whole right side is completely crushed and held together my duct tape and plastic. I hope we can all make a dedicated, hardworking and independent woman’s life a little easier. A woman who works day in and day out without asking for anything, shouldn't be driving such a vehicle. This is a  thank you and a way to give back to a woman who has given so much to hundreds of girls going through college.
