<div>On January 26, 2026, according to police sources, a man was found deceased at a construction site in Norwood, in the city of New York, Bronx County. The body was discovered by a worker at the construction site, who immediately contacted the authorities.

<div>Unfortunately, he could not be identified at that time, as he was found without clothing, without identification documents, and without his cellphone, which made it impossible to contact his family.

<div>We immediately contacted the authorities to report his disappearance and to obtain information about his whereabouts. The officers arrived at the apartment, asked me several questions, and requested my brother’s name and date of birth. After checking hospitals, morgues, and other locations, one of the officers returned to deliver the devastating news: my brother had been found deceased at the location mentioned above.

<div>As you can imagine, receiving such news is something no sister ever expects. The impact was devastating, and I had to be calmed due to the emotional state I was in. From that moment on, I began contacting the investigator and the Medical Examiner’s Office to obtain further information.

<div>The authorities informed me that the cause of his death is still under investigation, as the circumstances surrounding the discovery are unclear. According to the information provided, my brother was found covered by snow, without clothing and without his belongings, and he had abrasions on his legs and on his face. All of these details are part of the ongoing investigation, and at this time, no official conclusion can be made until all results are completed.

<div>I was also informed that there is a possibility of repatriating my brother’s body to Colombia, so that his father and the rest of our family can give him a dignified burial.
