CÓRDOBA NOS NECESITA

<div>Hello, my name is Luisa Fernanda Reyes. I am originally from Colombia and currently reside in the United States.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On January 26, 2026, according to police sources, a man was found deceased at a construction site in Norwood, in the city of New York, Bronx County. The body was discovered by a worker at the construction site, who immediately contacted the authorities.
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, he could not be identified at that time, as he was found without clothing, without identification documents, and without his cellphone, which made it impossible to contact his family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I, Luisa Fernanda Reyes, the older sister of Daniel Reyes, learned of his death on January 30, as my brother never went missing for so many days. We constantly texted and called him, but his phone remained turned off. This caused me great distress, as I felt that something was terribly wrong.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I live in Long Island, New York, and I decided to travel to his apartment in the Bronx. I know the access code to his home, and from the moment I started knocking on the door, I began recording because I feared something serious might have happened. When I entered the apartment, everything was in perfect condition.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We immediately contacted the authorities to report his disappearance and to obtain information about his whereabouts. The officers arrived at the apartment, asked me several questions, and requested my brother’s name and date of birth. After checking hospitals, morgues, and other locations, one of the officers returned to deliver the devastating news: my brother had been found deceased at the location mentioned above.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As you can imagine, receiving such news is something no sister ever expects. The impact was devastating, and I had to be calmed due to the emotional state I was in. From that moment on, I began contacting the investigator and the Medical Examiner’s Office to obtain further information.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The authorities informed me that the cause of his death is still under investigation, as the circumstances surrounding the discovery are unclear. According to the information provided, my brother was found covered by snow, without clothing and without his belongings, and he had abrasions on his legs and on his face. All of these details are part of the ongoing investigation, and at this time, no official conclusion can be made until all results are completed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I was also informed that there is a possibility of repatriating my brother’s body to Colombia, so that his father and the rest of our family can give him a dignified burial.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My brother Daniel Reyes was 27 years old, had no children, and in this country, he only had me, his sister, and his nieces and nephews. The rest of our family lives in Colombia.
</div>
<div>For this reason, I humbly ask for your support to help cover funeral expenses, legal and administrative costs, and repatriation expenses, and to allow us to continue with the necessary processes while the investigation continues and the truth is clarified.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this campaign, will be deeply appreciated.
</div>
<div>God bless you all for your kindness and support.
</div>
<div><br />

</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>

<div>To Marta’s family, friends, and followers—
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is not an easy message to share. If you know Marta and Richard, you know they are not the type to ask for help. They have always worked hard, taken care of their family, and supported others whenever they could. But now, they need us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Marta was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and this diagnosis has turned their world upside down. She is determined to fight, and as she begins this journey, we want to support her in every way possible. Many of the treatments and approaches she hopes to pursue will likely need to be paid out of pocket, adding to the stress they are already facing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Marta is a full-time YouTube content creator, known for her genuine, kind-hearted spirit and engaging personality. She has built a beautiful community by sharing her passion for beauty and makeup, always bringing positivity and authenticity to her followers.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With Marta’s diagnosis, she has had to step away from work, which will ultimately create a financial burden down the road. We set up this GoFundMe to help lighten that load, so they can focus on what truly matters: Marta’s health, her healing, and her time with her family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To everyone who has been touched by Marta’s kindness, creativity, and spirit—whether you’re a close friend, a family member, or one of the many followers who have been inspired by her—this is our chance to give back. Every donation, big or small, will make a difference. If you’re unable to give, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Marta in your thoughts and prayers would mean the world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For those who would prefer to donate directly to the Fernandez family, contributions can also be sent via Venmo, Zelle, checks, or cash. Please reach out for details on how to give directly.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Marta has always been a light and an inspiration to those around her. Now, it’s our turn to lift her up and remind her that she is not alone in this fight.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You got this, Marta!!! We are all here for you and will fight with you.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your love, prayers, and support.

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Lo tienes, Marta!!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Con gratitud,

<div>On a day that changed our lives forever, a devastating fire swept through the home of my mom, little brother, cousin, and grandma. The flames moved so quickly that there was barely time to react. We are incredibly grateful that everyone made it out alive, but the loss has been heartbreaking. The fire destroyed nearly all of their belongings and tragically took the lives of our two beloved puppies. My grandma required medical care after the incident, and the emotional toll on our family has been immense.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> If you know my mom, you know she is a woman who serves. She is devoted to her community, always the first to help, always the one willing to take the coat off her own back to make sure someone else is okay. She is a devoted mother, daughter, and friend—the kind of person who shows up for others without hesitation. Seeing someone who has given so much now facing such a devastating loss has been incredibly difficult for all of us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> Today, my family is faced with the overwhelming task of rebuilding from nothing. They need help replacing essential items, covering medical expenses, and securing a safe place to stay as they begin the healing process. If you feel led to give, please know that any contribution—big or small—will make a meaningful difference. Your support will help them regain stability, find comfort during this painful time, and begin rebuilding their lives with dignity. Thank you in advance for your kindness, your prayers, and your generosity. We are deeply grateful for every donation and every share. In moments like this, community means everything, and your support reminds us that we are not alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Update:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We adjusted the goal as we started understanding the true scope of what my mom lost and the costs of rebuilding, temporary housing, and replacing essentials. Every bit of support is going directly to helping her stabilize and move forward. My mom is truly a humble woman who has never asked anyone for help. I watched her work tirelessly for all she had. She said she’s truly grateful for all the support she is receiving — she’s also at a loss of words.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From the bottom of our hearts, thank you ❤️.

</div>

<div>On the 16th of October of 2025, our hearts were shattered by the sudden, tragic, and unexpected loss of a father, husband, friend, journalist, and human being… Ernesto Barrera. Ernesto was a humorous, generous, and loving man whose life was cut short after going into cardiac arrest following unexpected complications during a surgery.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>As our family continues to face the unimaginable pain of losing Ernesto, we are also burdened with the unexpected expenses related to funeral arrangements and the time spent away from work to grieve and heal. I’ve created this GoFund Me to help support my family during this horrific period of loss, as we work diligently to make sure that my father’s life is honored in the way he would’ve wanted and deserved.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Any contribution, no matter how “big” or “small”, will go directly towards covering Ernesto’s funeral arrangements. As a family of faith, we also appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and memories of Ernesto as we celebrate all of the wonderful things that made him who he was.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you all for your kindness, compassion, warmth, and generosity.

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>
