As you know, my social media profiles have always been filled with images of Bowser &amp; Bella. They have filled my life with so much joy and unconditional love in the the almost twelve years that I’ve had them. They are my blessing - my blue nosed “pibbles”.<br /><br />Along with happiness - I have been dealing with  with a lot of heartache and stress surrounding their health.  Earlier this spring Bowser was diagnosed with TCC of the Prostate (Prostate Cancer) and his journey with the radiation and now chemo has been going as well as it can.  My boy has been a fighter his whole life dealing with numerous UTIs and two cystotomies (bladder stone removal surgery), finally leading up to his diagnosis. <br /><br />Unbeknownst to me, as I’ve shared “Bowser’s Journey”,  my sweet girl  Bella has been growing a tumor in her spleen.  On Saturday, August 12, I took her to the urgent vet. She seemed very distraught and her tummy was bloated.  X-rays uncovered a large mass, and an ultrasound was conducted today, August 14, to determine if  surgery was a viable option to remove both the spleen and the mass.  Once removed, a biopsy of mass and a small kidney sample will be sent for further evaluation. <br /><br />As I write this message, Bowser just received his  4th chemo treatment while Bella is at critical care awaiting for her life-threatening surgery tomorrow. She will be staying in their care for two days. Mom and I be visiting her shortly to give her all our love while she undergoes this big procedure. <br /><br />I humbly ask for help from you. The costs of Bowser and now Bella’s vet bills have grown a lot and I am doing everything in my power to keep them as healthy as possibly can.<br /><br />Thank you for reading our story and we truly appreciate <b>ANY</b> help you can provide, even if only words of support and by cross posting our donation page to your networks. <br /><br />Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you again for all your support in this: I never expected the day where I would attempt to write one of these for myself. Definitely, not something I'm proud of, and I continue to feel that way, but the outpouring love &amp; support I've received from all of you has been amazing. The months where I felt alone &amp; was too scared to share but now I share too much (apparently) ended up proving some of my fears with losing friends that I never thought would ever leave my side to those that came back into my life when I thought I was nothing but a distant childhood memory. <div>This page has been completely revamped so for those of you who are unaware of my situation here it is: I'm a 40-year-old single mother who has dealt with more loss in a year than others, but that's not what this page is about. It's honestly my heart and my personal life being shared about the struggles I'm facing with having Stage 4 Cancer. What kind do you ask? Cancer that's considered so rare that it's easier to coin it as "Steve Jobs Cancer," but the correct classification is Neuroendocrine Tumors.

<div>It's been one hell of a journey because I went to the ER for a stomach ache and was discharged with carcinoid tumors.

<div>I was considered inoperable by Mayo Clinic. With my son ONLY having me since his Dad's passing in 2017 that answer did not sit right with me. I'm not the type of person who takes "NO" for an answer because I also need the "WHY" in the response. You would think that is a reasonable request but if you've been here from the beginning you can only shake your head and the newbies, welcome, but we're past the point of explaining from the beginning, but I'm always open to answering questions and even sending the original post that got this entire fund started. I still cry thinking about it all, and this page is not to have so many tears because it's hard to see forward through the fog. That's my mentality with it at least.

<div>90% of my tumors were removed on April 23, 2019. Honestly, a date I will NEVER forget because I found an amazing medical staff through Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. When I was told no, they said yes! I can't see my surgeon, Dr. Pamela Hodul as a surgeon, I've honestly classified her as an angel who indeed has given me a 2nd chance, but we're not in remission because it has metastasized to both lobes of my liver. Unfortunately, my tumor growth rate is higher than what my growth rate was with the other tumors that damn near killed me. It's a bit scary but if I can wake up from this surgery and look at my stomach with a smile and feel like a damn Lioness.I feel confident with this next step, but once again, I need your help.
