<div>Hello my name is Jack Charles Alexander, better known as Jack-Jack. I am 4 years old and going to pre-K this fall. However, before I go I need to have surgery on my feet again. You see I was born with bilateral club foot and as you know I can't play for the St. Louis Cardinals unless I can run really fast. Mommy says I am very close now but my next surgery will help me make the team in a few years.

<div>Club foot is a birth defect in which the foot is twisted out of shape and position. Check out my pictures! My doctor started me in treatment at 9 days old with braces, then after 6 weeks they moved to casts. I meet Dr. Dobbs at St. Louis Children's Hospital and he told mommy I would need surgery to fix them. Dr. Dobbs is the BEST in his field with a great success rate using his Ponseti method. So of coarse mommy said yes! After my first surgery healed and my casts were removed I got to wear special boots attached to a bar for 4 years. You should see how good my mom is at putting those back on a 100 times a day. I made sure she was pro-level.

<div>As you can imagine this delayed me learning to walk but I have mastered it now and you should see me round the bases. Recently mommy started to noticed during my inning's that feet were turning in again so back to Dr. Dobbs we went and guess what? I have to have another surgery. As bummed as I am that baseball will be put on hold for a few months, he is confident that I will be sliding into home for spring training.

<div>Now for the crazy part, during my treatments Dr. Dobbs moved his practice to West Palm Beach, Florida. So this means mommy and I have to take a very long trip and stay in Florida for a few months during my recovery. Unfortunately, this means mommy has to take a leave of absence from work. So I was wondering if my family and friends would be willing to help us? Every little bit helps us get there and get me back on the field.

<div>First and foremost, we want to thank you for even opening this go fund me to read our story. Our Mom, Angie Eagan has been diagnosed with end stage liver disease. The prognosis has not been what we had hoped for and after nearly a month in ICU at Memorial Hospital there was no additional treatment available to her. She believes in her fight for a new liver despite being told a transplant unfortunately would take longer than she has. She has decided along with her family that miracles could happen and chose to be airlifted to St Louis University. SLU is an amazing facility and has a much larger medical offering than we had here locally. The diagnosis once there remained the same but hope is still within her and as long as she believes we will stand beside her every step until our options are none. While this is very hard for us to do, we are asking for any type of financial help that you could give with her ongoing care. While we understand that not all can help but if you could send prayers her way those are needed most. We will make sure that she sees every bit of love sent to her.  Please help us to spend as much time with our Mom that God allows. All donations received will be used for her medical expenses and assisting us to see her daily. If you know Angie, she still has her amazing humor and she would ask that if you have a spare liver laying around to let us know.

<div>One week ago today, on Sunday, June 25th, my brother-in-law, Mike, suffered a devastating stroke - an acute subdural hematoma in his brain. We were told last Sunday that chances of survival were low. Post-craniotomy, he fought hard, survived, and is making progress. However, it is slow, and they have unimaginable challenges ahead.

<div>Mike is currently in the ICU, hoping to move to an intermediate floor and possibly acute rehabilitation in the coming weeks/months. He and my sister, Kim, have three children and made their home in Texas nine years ago. Living far from family has always been tough, but currently, it is one of our greatest challenges.

<div>Kim is steadfast by Mike’s bedside. She is trying to take things one moment at a time and exudes a profound faith in God. Understandably, she is overwhelmed by the details and burdens on her shoulders. Help for Kim and Mike

Why I started Be Humble Gym. <br /><br />I am a powerlifting coach and military veteran. I went to all the local gyms in my area and asked them if they would allow me to coach athletes with mental disabilities for one hour twice a week. I received the following answers: “We will need $5,000 a year for gym memberships”, “You can only bring two athletes“, “We can’t accommodate ‘those people’”, “You can come and train after 10PM when the ‘regular’ gym members aren’t here.” I was crushed after hearing these responses and I didn’t know what to do. I was talking about the setback with my wife one morning and she said, “Just buy a little bit of gym equipment and train the athletes in our basement.” So that’s exactly what I did. I started out with three athletes, a few weights, and a squat rack. Now here’s the problem. Be Humble Gym now has 14  athletes with mental disabilities  and more equipment. I simply don’t have enough space in my basement to fit all the athletes, gym equipment, or room for them to train safely. My goal is to raise enough money to build the athletes their very own gym. Their very own gym where they can have fun, exercise, and not have to worry about anything. These athletes have hearts of gold. They changed my life and now it’s my turn to change theirs. Be Humble Gym

Too many to count, are the ways our dear Lindsey enriched the lives of those around her.  Her kindness was contagious to anyone fortunate enough to spend a few brief seconds with her.<br /><br />Last Thursday, that contagious kindness and love spread to her five year old son as her last act in this world, pushing him out of the path of a drunk driver in a parking lot.  Selflessly, Lindsey commited herself to endure unimaginable pain, and ultimately death, so that her son Owyn could go on.<br /><br />Anything raised from this campaign will go towards Owyn Sharp's bright future!  Consider this a way of saying thank you to that electric personality and spunky, beautiful twenty-six year old single mother that was our perfect little Lindsey.
