<div>I’m Samar a sixth year medical student from Islamic University of Gaza and now l’m volunteering in Al Aqsa hospital in ER department .

<div>Before October 7th, I prepared myself for my graduation year but due to the war my life has turned upside down , my university / medical college and most of the hospital were destroyed and many of my doctors were killed by the Israeli occupation.
</div>
<div>My family (10 members) we are not ok , we are suffering a lot from the beginning of the war: we drink contaminated water, we cook on fire and firewood, there is no electricity, there is no source of income and we have lost many people who are precious to our hearts including my sister 's husband and my cousins sons .

<div>My siblings, Saja a forth year English language student , Abdullah a second year Engineering student and Sahar a first year English language student , are also facing the fear of unknown future in addition to the constant fear of death and loss we are facing every single moment.

<div>My father is a chronic patient and has a herniated disc and is unable to work. We have all lost our dreams of graduating, establishing a business and building a house for us. We hope for your support to complete my last year in medical school to graduate and specialize in order to return to Gaza and help my own people , and help my siblings to complete their education and achieving their dreams.

We waited for her for eleven years, filling our home with prayers and tears until God blessed us with her. She was our light, our joy, and our only hope in a world that had turned against us.

<div>On October 7th, everything was stolen from us. Our home, which once held our dreams, was reduced to rubble. The laughter that used to fill its walls was silenced beneath the wreckage. I had dreamed of Hayat growing up in warmth and love, but instead, she has only known fear, hunger, and displacement.

<div>We fled, searching for safety, but in Gaza, no place is safe. From the north to the south, from the south to the heart of destruction, it was as if war was chasing us. Every time the bombing paused, we let ourselves believe, just for a moment, that the nightmare was over. We would return to search through the ruins, trying to piece together the remnants of our lives. But in Gaza, peace is an illusion. The war returns, the hunger returns, the fear returns—an endless cycle of suffering.

<div>The borders are closed, aid is scarce, and the bread that was once a simple right has become an unattainable dream. I watch Hayat cry from hunger, and I have nothing to offer her. My husband was a teacher, nurturing hope in the hearts of children, but now he has no job, no income, no way to provide for us. Prices skyrocket daily, and the little food available is far beyond our reach. How can a family survive without a home, without food, without even the hope of a better tomorrow?

<div>We live between tents and the ruins of destroyed houses. The cold seeps into our bones, the rain leaks into the spaces where we sleep, and the air is thick with dust and despair. My little Hayat does not know what a “home” is—she only knows what it means to keep running, to search for shelter every time the place we hide in is bombed again.

<div>Night after night, I tell Hayat stories of a beautiful world, of a warm home, of food on the table, of mornings where the sound of explosions does not shake the ground beneath us. But she is young—she looks at me with tired eyes, as if asking, When will this world come? And I have no answer to give.

<div>I am exhausted. Exhausted from running, from hunger, from the cruel cycle of hope that is born in moments of calm only to be slaughtered with the next missile. I want only one thing: for Hayat to live, to grow, to dream—to know life as more than just a fight for survival.

OUR STORY<br />It's painful to say that we lost everything. But yes we did! We lost our beautiful home with all its memories, we lost our business, and we lost our life and dreams. We evacuated our home with only a small bag of clothes before it got bombed and destroyed. So technically YES we lost

We will use the money to reunite my family and evacuate temporarily to Egypt. My parents left Gaza for medical treatment in Gaza one day before the war. Your donations will help our family reunite with my parents (yousef , khaled and abood , ameera , malak they are twins and their grandparents ), and evacuate all of us temporarily until we can return home to Gaza in the future. I wish to offer my family a decent life, after months of suffering and struggling in these inhuman situations.

Our dear friends, this is not an obligation, no one is taking advantage of you emotionally for your support. We don't use our people to get your sympathy. We are just stating our own true personal story, hoping and believing in your support.<br /><br />For what we will use your donations.<br />1- The first thing is to rebuild our destroyed house and to complete our sons education which it also destroyed in the war by bombing their schools and university.<br /><br />2- We paid the travel coordination fees to the
Republic of Egypt, amounting to27,500$ .<br /><br />3- The living expenses in the southern part of Gaza City after being forced to leave our homes amounted to approximately $8,000. Initially, we relocated to Khan Younis, where we stayed with relatives and contributed to the logistics costs there. Subsequently, we moved to a small family in Rafah, where we stayed for a while and also contributed to the expenses and rent of a shared room that housed more than 50 people. Then, we moved to a room in an association in Rafah City, where we also contributed to some fees for services such as water provision, among others.
The stay incurred very high expenses, including medical treatment and medicines for the children (painkillers and antibiotics), treatment costs for my wife and me for some skin problems, high costs for purchasing diapers and milk, costs for buying vegetables, kitchen equipment, and clothes for me and the children as we fled with nothing. I do not belong to any institution or company from which I receive a regular salary. In other words, if I work, I earn money; if I don't work, there is no money.
This explains the lack of savings. Therefore, this amount was borrowed from our friends, and we have now repaid it.<br />4-The cost of living outside Gaza City averages $1,300 per month, whether in Egypt or other countries, as a minimum due to high rents and living expenses, as well as the cost of purchasing necessary items since we left with only our clothes and nothing else. Therefore, the cost of living for at least one year until the war ends and we are allowed to return requires<br />We are fully prepared to provide you with all the documents to verify the accuracy of what we have mentioned, with complete transparency. We deeply regret having to ask for donations as we have never sought assistance from anyone before.
However, this war exceeded all our capabilities. <br />

We were living a quiet life before the start of this war, but unfortunately now I cannot describe the extent of the pain I feel as a father when I cannot protect my children from these missiles that fall on us every minute. My children, who are 4, 6, and 7 years old, cannot comprehend the amount of pressure they face every minute. The horror I see in my children’s faces when they hear the explosions almost kills me. They wake up every day screaming, and the tremors of fear that afflict them tear my heart apart. Things have become very difficult, as the minimum necessities of life are no longer available, such as food, water, clothing, and a home. I lost many members of my family in this cruel war. There are not many words to describe the bitterness and difficulty of losing people you love.

<div>It is time now to start a new life for my children and take them to safety. Perhaps they will find an opportunity to live in safety, calm and peace. My children were excelling in their studies, but because of this war they lost their most basic rights to education. Even their schools were bombed, so they no longer have the opportunity to realize their ambitions and dreams. For the future, now is the time to send them to the best schools and complete their education in calm, stable and safe conditions.

<div>I ask you to help me rehabilitate myself and my children and start a life we ​​deserve in a new country after this pain and fear that we all lived through during these harsh months. I have challenges ahead of me that will be difficult to restore balance and stability to my family’s life and for my children to live like the rest of the world’s children in peace and love. .
