Hallo liebe Freunde, Familie und UnterstützerInnen, 
 
Mit diesem Spendenaufruf möchten wir unseren Bruder Konstantin (36) und seine Frau Lena (36) mit ihren drei Töchtern Malu (6), Lotte (4) und Ronja (2) unterstützen. 
 
Am 3.7.2025 haben sie die schlimmste Nachricht bekommen, die Eltern wohl erhalten können. 

Bei ihrer mittleren Tochter, der kleinen, lebensfrohen Lotte, wurde ein unheilbarer Hirntumor diagnostiziert. 

Es sind nur noch einige Monate, die ihnen mit Lotte bleiben. 
 
Konstantin und Lena haben ihre Berufstätigkeit vorübergehend eingestellt, um zwischen den vielen Arztbesuchen so viel Zeit wie möglich mit Lotte zu verbringen. Aber auch, um für die beiden Schwestern Malu und Ronja da zu sein, für die die Situation ebenfalls viel Schwere und Belastung mitbringt. 
 
Da Konstantin und Lena erst letztes Jahr einen großen Kredit zur Finanzierung eines Reihenhauses für die 5-köpfige Familie aufgenommen haben, haben sie momentan kaum Ersparnisse. 
 
Damit wir ihnen zumindest einen kleinen Teil der Sorgen nehmen können, haben wir diese Gofundme Aktion gestartet. Es würde uns sehr viel bedeuten, wenn ihr uns dabei helft, sie zu unterstützen!

Konkret möchten wir sie in diesen Vorhaben unterstützen: 
 
- Gemeinsame Familienzeit 

Die verbleibenden Monate sollen Raum für gemeinsame glückliche Momente geben und für Erinnerungen an Lotte und als Familie mit ihr. Konstantin und Lena wünschen sich eine letzte gemeinsame Reise nach Griechenland im Oktober. 
 
- Zweites Kinderzimmer 

Im Moment teilt sich Lotte ein Kinderzimmer mit Malu und Ronja. In absehbarer Zeit wird Lotte palliativ betreut werden müssen und um das für sie Zuhause möglich zu machen, soll der Dachstuhl ab November so ausgebaut werden, dass dort ein eigenes Zimmer für sie geschaffen werden kann.
 
Jeder Beitrag gibt Konstantin und Lena auch das Gefühl, nicht alleine zu sein.

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to support our brother Konstantin (36) and his wife Lena (36), parents to three daughters: Malu (6), Lotte (4), and Ronja (2). 
 
On July 3, 2025, they received the most devastating news any parent could imagine. 

Their bright, joyful middle daughter Lotte, was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumor. Doctors have told them that only a few months remain with her. 
 
Konstantin and Lena have put their work on hold to spend as much time possible with Lotte - between countless doctor’s visits, but also simply being together as a family. They are also doing everything they can to support Malu and Ronja, who are facing their own share of sadness and confusion in this situation. 
 
Just last year, the family moved into a row house, financed by a large loan, leaving them with little savings. 
 
We want to ease at least some of that burden so they can focus fully on what matters most: time together as a family.

Right now, Lotte shares a bedroom with her sisters. Soon, she will need palliative care, and to make that possible at home, the family hopes to convert the attic into a separate room for her this November. This will give Lotte a peaceful space of her own.

<div>Okay so this is happening now! From consultations to Psychiatrists to alot of waiting time to get an appointment with a surgeon (which was then cancelled due to covid) to finally getting a date for Top Surgery!

<div>I was expecting to get this surgery in April but they have managed to squeeze me in as soon as January and I basically just couldn't say no, hence why I'm asking for help. I was pretty adamant that I wanted to fund all of this myself but with a date so soon, its highly unlikely I will be able to. I was also told my surgery would be a lengthy one meaning I will have to pay alot more than initially thought. Goodie!

<div>Although this all feels like its come around very quickly, this has been a very long time coming. From very early on, pre puberty, I felt and lived like a cool confident boy. I didn't know what that meant and I didn't question it because I was just being me. From secondary school till only a few years ago that all got suppressed. When I first heard the word 'trans' and saw a trans person living their best life I didn't think it applied to me anymore and thought that if I was trans, then I would have done something about it already.

<div>'Im not trans enough' was my mindset mixed with constant fear made it hard to accept myself let alone think that other people would accept me.

<div>Asking for help to fund this surgery feels a little odd I guess as its my personal journey and no one else's but by doing this and talking about my experience helps to accept my transness even if it is at the young age of 35! Although the fire brigade arrived early and stopped the blaze all of our equipment has been burned and destroyed. 30k worth of equipment, trailer, machinery and stock. Since we shared this sad news with our clients and followers the support has been overwhelming  and we have had brilliant ideas, this fundraiser being one of them to help us get back on our feet as  Christmas is only a few days and our profits for this month spread out between wages, bonuses and running costs it may take a couple of weeks, months before we do so.  Unfortunately, this will impact not only our business but families, as we are a family run business and our staff depend greatly on their wages, which they will be out of until this is fixed. If you can donate anything, it will make a difference to us. We know it’s the festive period and funds may be very limited (we can definitely relate!) BUT even sharing this with your friends and family will also be of great help to us! We hope to be there with you in the new year, continuing to supply you with good coffee. For some of you who don't know who we are here is a quick history about Mr Tinto. What or who is Mr Tinto? In Colombia we call black filter coffee 'Tinto', and whoever sells coffee is ‘el señor de los tintos’ it translate in English to 'Mr Tinto' When I started the business that is exactly what I was, a man with a bicycle outside the back entrance to East Croydon Station selling coffee. Where and when did we come from? It feels like a long time ego but an always close memory, like a picture on the wall that first cold wet Monday morning on the 16th January 2017 a dark morning that felt like still was night at around 6:30am. My first customer was a young woman who asked me for a black American, I was so nervous but so excited at the same time. Since then it has been a wonderful adventure, an adventure which has seen that man an a bicycle grow to the community we are today. What is our ideology? My ethos has always been to make good coffee available to the everyday person. How have we achieved that? By cutting the middle man and sourcing our own coffee directly from the farms, in this way we pay fair prices to the farmers, but also it allows us to pass on the savings to you.
