As most of you know, Sonya Bryson Kirksey has been admitted to the hospital battling COVID pneumonia. March 20, 2021 I received  the worst possible news a child could receive that my mother Patricia Rymer was no longer with us. My mother a beautiful kind hearted soul gone to soon. She left behind three children and a beautiful grandson that adored her more then anything in this world. My mother was my best friend she was loved by so many. Unfortunately she didn’t have any insurance to cover her funeral expenses and I’m asking for all her friends and family to please help me in giving my mother the burial that she deserves. We so kindly appreciate the help.  Thank you all so much. I will miss my mother so much  you are forever in my heart mommy

Caring for Kenny! If you live on the east coast you are sure to have run into Kenny Hanson at some point in your life! From his work with local charities, The Sons of Ben, local government and his always carefree and giving nature I am sure that you are sure to have met Kenny Hanson at some point in your life. On August 6th, our local resident Kenny Hanson had a tragic accident at Folly Beach that resulted in a traumatic head injury. From the ER, to ICU, and all the way to recovery, he is going to need our support and love. This GoFundMe account is set to give him help with medical bills. I am no wordsmith and would love your help in anyway possible to help get word out to anyone that can help. He needs us more than ever and after all he has done for everyone he meets, I want us to be able to help him now when he needs it most. There are plans in the works for a event at Folly Beach late in the month of August, if you know anyone that can assist with planning we welcome you with open arms. Early Sunday morning many of us woke to the shocking news that our friend Matt Sietz had passed away at the far too young age of 42. He was my lifelong friend, he was the nicest, funniest guy, and was the greatest husband and father. Matt and Kim have 4 young kids, with the baby coming just last year. I don't think I need to explain how hard life is going to be for them without Matt, both emotionally and financially. I put this page together so we could do something for them beyond words - anything you could contribute - anything at all - would be greatly appreciated, and go towards making this incredibly sad time, and a challenging future, a bit easier for them
