As a result of the aggressive chemotherapy and radiation I had a few years ago to fight my stage 3 cancer diagnosis, I am left with a major dental situation. Unfortunately, these treatments and the loss of a salivary gland have caused major rotting to my teeth, and I have to have them all removed and receive full dentures. Typically, people receive the dentures immediately after having them removed, but due to the radiation I had, the risk of bone infection is great, and I will have to be without teeth for 1-3 months. This could significantly affect my ability to work. I may have to take short-term disability. However, before we even get there, I have to be able to pay for them.

<div><strong>The bill is very significant, and I do not have the funds.</strong> I will have to stop performing for at least three months and likely teaching. Friends, this is not to get implants or the perfect smile. I am getting plain old dentures, the kind your Grandma wore. This has been hard to accept. It has been hard to smile. If you haven’t seen me out much or on social media, this is why. I need help to get these new chompers. I want to be able to smile with confidence and eat without pain.

<div>Hello. My name is Sarah McPeck in December of last year I was diagnosed with Stage Three moth cancer. I had to undergo very aggressive treatment due to advanced cancer and had to quit working almost immediately. I went back to work in August of this year. Unfortunately due to the length of time, I was out, my job in upper management was no longer there for me and to keep my insurance I had to accept an entry-level position in a different city from where I was working. I decided to move to be closer to my new job and that was also a very high expense, but having an older car I didn't want to be driving all the time. Even before cancer, I worked two or more jobs to pay my bills. Since I have been back, I have been working as hard as I can. I work one full-time job, and a part-time job, teach classes and occasionally door dash. I have to be honest, I am exhausted. Due to an insurance nightmare I still owe almost $6,000 in medical bills. I am also seeing a specialist for lymphedema caused by radiation and have to have scans every three months due to an enlarged lymph node. I also had to have a partial denture made, which was costly. During the last year, I have had to purchase three cars. Two of which broke down with repairs that were too costly to repair. In trying to not incur a car payment, I purchased used vehicles and I ended up spending a fair amount of money on transportation. I am very humbled to have to answer for help. I have set up monthly payment arrangements with my medical bills but I am still having to put monthly expenses on credit and it is getting to the point where I don't have any more credit. It is humbling to have to ask for help and to put my business out there. I know many of you reading this have already donated. I am GRATEFUL. I know that times are tough for everyone and I understand if you are not able to donate. If you could share this request, I would be most thankful. Thank you for helping me through this ordeal. <div>Hi friends. Thank you for all your support through my journey since my cancer diagnosis. I wish I didn’t have to ask for more help as you have all been so generous. However I don’t know what else to do at this point. During my treatment the transmission went out on my car and I had to junk it. I purchased a 1998 Toyota and at first it seemed great. Within a month the exhaust fell off, now the break lines and fuel lines plus other things have failed and to fix it is more than I paid for the car. I do still have some savings left but my hospital bills are already maxed out and I won’t know when I can go back to work until August. I am beyond stressed and scared. My LTD payments barely cover my monthly bills and I just found out my rent is being increased by over $200 and I have no choice right now but to stay where I am. I am hoping to raise enough money to find a decent runner until hopefully I can go back to work. Any and all help is appreciated. You all have been so amazing and it is so hard for me to have to reach out again. Also if you have a used car you would want to donate or any hot leads, I would greatly appreciate it.

<div>Logan Michael Mott was the passenger of a vehicle involved in an accident early Labor Day morning, 2021. In the evening hours prior to the accident, Logan spent time with family cooking out and visiting around a fire. Logan left to join his friends in Cumberland, WI later on that night. Little did any of us know, this would be the beginning of the fight for his life.

<div>It is a parent's worst nightmare. The call in the middle of the night that your child has been airlifted to Regions Hospital Trauma Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Logan suffered a significant brain bleed as the result of the accident. Logan's medical team has been working around the clock to provide him with the best care and outcome. Logan's parents, David and Brooke, have been by his side since they were notified.

<div>If you have ever heard a mother's cry and plea for her child's life, you know only the tip of the deep, heart sinking pain that Brooke is experiencing. Every emotion floods her as she continuously thinks about each happy moment she has shared with her son, and also each regret. Just tonight, Brooke reminded me that the petty and irritating issues we sometimes go through with our children are nothing in the grand scheme of things. Never take an ordinary moment with your child for granted as they are all truly gifts.

<div>Logan is a funny, caring, and patient young man with a great love for his family, friends, and animals. If there was any way that any one of us could take his place so he could be well, we would without hesitation. The only thing we can do now is be patient and keep the faith. While Logan's family has given to these charities in the past, they now find themselves on the other side, one they never fathomed they would face. David and Brooke are two individuals who would give everything they could to help someone they love through difficult times. I am hoping we can also do the same for them by easing some of the financial stresses that will be incurred. We sincerely appreciate every message, prayer, phone call, and thought. Rent Party for the AllWays Lounge

In the words of Jodi Budge:  "Hey everyone - please send positive thoughts and prayers, vibes, juju’s, whatever else you want to call them towards Mike’s way. As many of you are aware, he’s been having severe back issues for the past 8 weeks with the pain/numbness and loss of strength down his left leg. Unfortunately, his leg gave out while attempting to go upstairs. He fell backwards and fell 8 stairs - VERY hard. On Thursday, 911 was called and the wonderful EMT crew showed up, brought him to be airlifted down to North Memorial. (I didn’t get the names of all of them, but one I remember was Kate. She helped calm Graycee down and gave her a big hug. Thank you to you and that entire team! You guys rock!)<br />He has a large bleed on his brain and swelling. Surgery is not needed at this point (thankfully) - but will be getting additional CT scans to confirm it’s not getting any bigger. He has a long road ahead of him with occupational and speech therapy, but we’ll get through this “bump in the road “ like we always do - TOGETHER - with the strength and love from all of our family and friends. ❤️"<br /><br />Mike has a long road to recovery and will be in the hospital for quite a while.  Jodi is having to commute from Webster Wisconsin to be with Mike.   The gas money alone is a huge challenge, let alone the costs that will come in from the air ambulance and the extended hospital stay , follow up occupational and physical therapy for Mike, etc.   While Mike is healing and recovering, he is not being paid.  And anytime Jodi is at the hospital and not at work, she is not receiving a paycheck.  They are a wonderful family of 5, plus two dogs and a few cats.  From the words of nine year old Graycee, "  I just want my dad to get better so he can come home."<br /><br />We love you Jodi, Mike and family!  We wish the best for you and your family during this challenging time.

Hi! My name is Hope. I am an actor, singer, restaurant host, nanny, MC, odd-jobber from Minneapolis. Two years ago, I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Consortium of Asian American Theaters and Artists. It is a national conference celebrating Asian American theater makers and this year it is being hosted in Chicago. When I went two years ago, I was there as part of a production through Theater Mu. My conference package, travel, and lodging were all paid for by the company. This year, I am hoping to go on my own.<br /><br />The conference is six days long, and during that time there are panels about diversity, navigating the very white world of theater as an Asian American artist, problematic representation and how to talk about it, and making theater in Tr*mp's America. There are fully produced shows from companies all over the United States, there are readings by Asian American playwrights. And there are events for all of us to meet, share our experiences, make friends.<br /><br />While I was at CAATA, I met so many artists who shared experiences with me. Things that I hadn't ever been able to talk about with a lot of my colleagues outside of Mu. I felt like I got to celebrate a part of myself I don't get to be often. And I met a lot of really incredible people that I am still very honored to call my friends. I got to see art that reflected my experiences and told my story. Another thing I don't get to see often. I felt fired up about making art, about making change with my art. And most of all, I felt seen.<br /><br />This year, the conference will be August 13-18. My birthday is September 2. I am asking that in lieu of gifts or dinner or drinks, you help me get to Chicago for CAATA. This year, I am asking for you to help me be in community and to help me further my artistic endeavors. On<strong> November 18, 2016, my dearest friend, Cheryl Vobeda was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Her Oncologist prescribed months of Chemotherapy, a Lumpectomy, and then several weeks of Radiation Therapy.
