<div>Hi my name is Amber, some may know that in January our Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 liver disease and is in End Stage Liver failure.  He is in the process of getting on the List for a Liver Transplant at UCLA. Our Mom and Dad have made many trips to UCLA for a very thorough work up for the transplant. We are almost there, waiting on Insurance and then hopefully he can be placed on the transplant list!! Once he is listed we are all praying and hoping that the transplant will happen sooner rather than later. The waiting game has been hard and his health has declined rapidly the last few months! If you know my Dad, you know that he is one of the strongest and most amazing men you have met!

<div>Asking for help is something My mom and Dad would never do on their own so we (myself and my siblings) have decided that we need to step in and request some help! Our Dad is very sick and at this time can no longer work! He tried very hard to work as long as he could however it’s time to rest and prepare for the transplant! Our Mom is now having to take some time away from her Daycare to care for him and because of the severity of the surgery she will also have to care for him during the intense recovery! We are just wanting to put her mind at ease as she has already felt the stress that goes along with caring for a sick loved one! If you cannot donate every prayer during this process for my dad and our family is greatly appreciated!

<div>Hi my name is Sheila Burnham Finley &amp; I have set up this Go Fund Me page for my niece Elizabeth Burnham Steinhoff to help her raise money &amp; relieve some of her burden as she learned this morning of the passing of her mom my sister in law Michele. Michele had been in a nursing home with failing health but she was exposed to COVID last week &amp; with her preexisting health conditions it was just too much. Michele was one of the sweetest women that I have ever met. Michele was still so young she was coming up on her 60’th birthday far too young so sad. She cared deeply for all of her family &amp; I know that she will be deeply missed. Funeral for Michele Neely Burnham

The wildfire in California has gravely effected our dear friend Marco Re's family. His sister's home (where his mother lives also) was completey burned to the ground. What is your favorite memory with Kelli? I  bet if you thought of it just now, you are smiling and or cracking up. Her smile is infectious and her laugh contagious. Few people have the spirit that Kelli does. She is caring, loving and one of the funniest persons you will ever meet. Most importantly, she is a TOUGH cookie in all aspects of life. She is a 911 Dispatcher. She is one of the few and proud Dispatchers for the Alameda County Sheriff's Office. She helps to keep our deputies safe and is the calm voice for the citizens when they need her most. <br /><br />She has done her job while battling Cancer twice. She has continued to help others while fighting for her life, and would do it again. Sadly, she is going to be doing it again. AGAIN! This will be the third time in 5 years this disease has challenged our girl. It has taken a turn, but Kelli is strong, and is surrounded by love and support. She will require lots of treatment and time off work. Your donations are needed and greatly appreciated. I am attaching an explanation written by Kelli to show you the strength this young woman has. She is an inspiration to all. We LOVE you Kelli and are dancing with you every step of the way! <br /><br />Written by Kelli Lucas:<br />Here is the update on the battle with my cancer. She has decided that my body is too amazing to leave (who can blame her).... so I have to learn a new dance until my dance with her is over. The choreography is hard.. but not something that I can’t handle. Cancer has taken up residence in the bones to my spine, hips, and lymph nodes. So I will have to undergo forever treatment. This is no longer curable... it is only manageable. That includes oral meds, infusions, and chemotherapy. I am praying that we can shrink the tumors in my spine… but this new finding explains the excruciating pain I have been having in my back. Never would I have thought the cancer had come back there, but it has. We have to try to keep it from spreading to my organs. I will not go down without a fight… I’m in for the fight of my life, literally. But for the remaining time I have here on earth… I will dance my dance… to my music… and never give up! I love you all and can’t say how blessed I am for having you in my life!
