We are an inclusive salon that focuses on our community and it has been a goal of ours to build a ramp to be used for our side entrance.  We have secured one grant towards our goal and will continue applying to additional ones to help bridge the gap in financing as well but wanted to reach out to our community to be involved!

<div>It is with the deepest sadness imaginable that one could possibly endure, that I write that our father Greg Korin has passed away. He took his final breath last night around 830pm with my son Robert Malia present and his beloved companion Max. He was not alone. He spent 237 days without the love of his life Kerri McInally Korin and I do believe they were immediately reunited together again for eternity. I am at a loss for words and I really don't understand why this is our path. But, we will just push forward. Our family would like to extend our love to all of dad's friends and family for the endless amounts of support throughout this entire year. Additionally, we would like to extend our condolences to all of dad's friends, family and colleagues. You all have made his life better just by being his friend. And he loved you all immensely. Dad, you are a legend, you will live forever! I love you!

<div>Dad was an organ donor and even after his death he continued making others happy. He was truly an amazing man. I hope he knew exactly how much he was loved, appreciated and valued.  All donations will be used for cremation services and all of dad's final expenses.

<div>In this moment of unprecedented disregard for the chronically ill and disabled communities, let’s get beloved Philadelphia cabaret performer and voice teacher <strong>Shannon Turner the care she needs and deserves</strong>. We are raising $10,000.00 on behalf of our friend to help secure her quality of life this spring, including paying for needed meds that have spiked in costs, and support towards rent this spring while she recovers from recent medical challenges.

<div>Shannon lives with Lupus, Psoriatic Arthritis, Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (APS), Long Covid, and an anoxic brain injury caused by APS in 2012. In spite of this, she continues to teach and perform throughout Philadelphia. She is an advocate for disabled and chronically ill communities, especially in the LGBTQIA+ community. In these unprecedented times of government instability, Shannon is seeing her medical benefits change every week. <strong>She was denied her much-needed infusion this winter, which resulted in one of her most painful hospital stays to date.</strong> This infusion is priced at about $5,000.00-7,000.00 and Shannon literally NEEDS it to stay healthy. Shannon currently needs Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Home Nursing services, all of which are more vulnerable than ever under DOGE’s sweeping cuts. Lastly, Shannon needs to maintain her rent and quality of life. Funds raised here will all go directly to Shannon to support all of these aspects of her life.

Help Shannon SLAY life and kick Long Covid’s Ass!

<div>Hi, my name is Mary Kruszon and I am a friend of Malinda Dugan. If you are fortunate enough to know Malinda, you know she is one of the kindest, funniest, and most down-to-earth people you could ever meet. I met and got to know Malinda after my many trips to our local CVS in Carolina Beach, where she was working just about every day prior to her next shift at Nollie's Taco Joint. I look forward to seeing her each and every time! Recently, Malinda started having chest pains, stomach pains, and back pains. Her condition progressed, leading to dizziness, lack of appetite, and coughing up black phlegm. When her condition started deteriorating, she was rushed to our local hospital and has since been monitored in the ICU. Since she has been at the hospital, she has had multiple seizures, required intubation, and her heart stopped requiring resuscitation. After many tests including an MRI, EKG, CAT Scan, Lab Panel, Spinal Tap, COVID Test, and other assessments, the doctors are still at a loss as to what has caused her condition. She is sedated with a breathing tube and feeding tube, showing minimal response to treatments. Malinda's family and friends are heartbroken and distraught, trying to find a way to offer any help they can to Malinda who is battling for her life. Malinda has the strongest work ethic out of anyone I know, working many hours between two jobs to support herself and her two beautiful cats who she cares for like they are her own children. With everything she is going through, I want to help in the one way I know how - to raise as much money as I can for her medical bills and God-willing, her recovery. If you cannot donate any money, I ask that you please keep Malinda in your thoughts and prayers for a successful recovery from this and to continue to have the strength to fight this battle. Medical & Financial Support for Malinda Dugan

<p>Dear Family, Friends, and even Strangers, <br /><br />Kyle Crosley was a 35 year-old fiancé and <br />Father of three young boys whose life was <br />taken suddenly. For the last two months he <br />had been experiencing excruciating pain in his legs and feet, began seeing  doctors and was <br />scheduled for tests, but it wasn’t soon enough. 
</p>

<p>On the morning of March 12th, Kyle was <br />found passed away peacefully in his recliner.<br /><span style="font-size:1.0625rem;">We are now awaiting the Coroner’s report to <br />tell us the exact cause of death. </span>
</p>

<p><span style="font-size:1.0625rem;">Franklynn (12), Matthew (8), and Abraham (6) are now left in the care of Kyle’s beloved <br /></span>fiancée Stephanie. She is committed to <br />keeping them together and raising them as <br />Kyle always wanted. Unfortunately there is <br />not only heartache being felt in the family, but also now financial strain. 
</p>

<p>Stephanie is currently out of the work due to<br />the Covid-19 Pandemic and dealing with <br />broken disks in her back that will eventually<br />need surgery later this year. Any funds raised are being used to help with funeral expenses, <br />continuing to care for the boys, and one of the biggest focuses will be counseling for them<br />after enduring such a loss. 
</p>

<p>I am Stephanie’s eldest daughter Zoe and I <br />write this because although my mother <br />needs help right now, I know she will hesitate <br />to ask for it. The boys and her never expected to lose Kyle, but now have to deal with the <br />punch that life has dealt. 
</p>

<p>The boys have firmly expressed their desire to stay with my mom and my only wish is to help her with that. She loves them as much as she <br />loves me and my brother Zane (14), and all I <br />want is to help our family after a tragedy. 
</p>
