<div>My name's Jay Rivera and <strong>I've been volunteering in Poland and Ukraine for over 2 years.</strong> Fellow volunteers created a Ukrainian charity named "<a href="https://www.volunteeraction.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Volunteer Action</strong></a>" in order to start a shelter and rehabilitation center, in Lviv Oblast, for internally displaced people. This refuge is called the Phoenix.

The Phoenix: Rebuilding Hope

Dear friends, family, those who knew him well, and those who didn't get the chance to meet him.<br /><br />It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the death of our dear Craig Mollison, who unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday morning, November 24, 2020, one day shy of his 52nd birthday.<br /><br />Like so many during this time, we are all devastated. <br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/52874902_1606501361491388_r.jpeg" alt="52874902_1606501361491388_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />Craig was a husband, father, and friend to many. He leaves behind his wife, Kate, married in September 2014—they were still at the beginning of building their lives together. He also leaves behind their son Matthew (age 11), and their beautiful daughter Nora who is not yet 2. Nora was the light of his life—and it was a pure joy to watch their father/daughter bond.<br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/52874902_1606501382962134_r.jpeg" alt="52874902_1606501382962134_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br />In addition to his two younger children, he also leaves behind his four adult children, Cassandra, Steven, Logan, and Alicia. He is also survived by his sister Tammy Bailey, and his father Phillip Mollison.<br /><br />So why are we writing to you, dear strangers, about Craig? As you can likely imagine, these times have not been friendly to the Mollison family in terms of finances and even more so during times of Covid. We would love nothing more than to give Craig a sensible funeral service, but we cannot do it alone.<br /><br />Every donation, no matter how big or small will get us closer to putting Craig to rest peacefully where he belongs. <br /><br />We are hoping to raise $8,650 which is the exact amount for his funeral services. So you know exactly where your donation will be used, we are planning a modest but proper ceremony. Every little bit helps. Craig Mollison—Unexpected Funeral Expenses

<a href="http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/nyc-crime/off-duty-nypd-sergeant-launches-woman-30-feet-hits-emt-article-1.2562295" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/nyc-crime/off-duty-nypd-sergeant-launches-woman-30-feet-hits-emt-article-1.2562295" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/nyc-crime/off-duty-nypd-sergeant-launches-woman-30-feet-hits-emt-article-1.2562295</a></a> <br /><br />Victoria is a 22 year old aspiring college student in the medical field.  To support her college goals, Victoria has been working as a nanny to three year old twins, as well as working at a physical fitness center.  She is a daughter, sister, niece, grandaughter and friend, who is loved by all.<br /><br />In the early morning hours of March 12th,  Victoria received a call from a high school friend who was in trouble.  Without hesitating, Victoria got into her car and drove to her friend's side.  At the scene of the accident, Victoria waited with her friend for assistance.  <br /><br />In a horrible chain of events, while Victoria stood waiting on the side of the roadway, another car crashed into Victoria's parked car, and like a domino effect the other car pushed Victoria over the guardrail.  Victoria plummeted 30 feet to the pavement below.<br /><br />Due to the heroic efforts of NYC EMS, Victoria survived the tragic fall.  Unfortunately, she sustained massive injuries that have had to be treated with multiple surgeries.<br /><br />At this time, Victoria is still in surgical intensive care at a local hospital.  While her prognosis seems promising, she has a long road to travel for a full recovery.<br /><br />The <strong>Victoria Get Well Fund</strong> has been established to assist the family with unfunded medical expenses. The money will be used to cover any expenses after insurance coverage has been exhausted.<br /><br />The family is overwhemled by the outpouring of prayers and support.  Please let us continue to support this family with a finacial contribution.<br /><br />Thank you for your continued prayers and support during this difficult time.
