<div>To know Skip is to love him. He’s one of those people who leaves a lasting mark on everyone he meets—kind, thoughtful, and always putting others first. Around town, Skip is well-known and well-loved for his generous spirit and the way he looks out for everyone’s best interest.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Right now, Skip is going through a tough time financially. He has given so much to this community over the years, and now he could really use our support in return. We believe in the strength of this community and know that, together, we can help lift him up and ease this burden.

</div>

<div>If you’re able, please consider making a donation to help Skip get back on his feet. Every little bit makes a difference, and every act of kindness will mean the world to him.

Stand by Skip: A Pillar of Kindness

<div>“We are deeply saddened by the news that our friend <strong>Debbie Hunt Thaxton</strong> lost her husband, Larry, yesterday to Lewy Body Dementia, a debilitating condition that rendered him permanently disabled. Debbie, in turn, left her job to serve as Larry’s full-time caregiver. She was dedicated to carrying out this commitment, although it forced an unanticipated early retirement.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>A private cremation will be held, with no funeral service. Even so, the anticipated costs pose a significant barrier for Debbie given the huge medical bills that have also been accrued during Larry’s debilitating illness.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Consequently, a GoFundMe page has been created by Debbie’s friends to help her navigate these funeral expenses. <strong>We kindly ask you to consider contributing to this fund, no matter the amount, as a gesture of great comfort and tangible support to Debbie during this challenging time.”</strong>
