<div>It is with a heavy heart that I say my friend, my sister, Debra Becker, passed away on the morning of September 10, 2023. It was very unexpected &amp; she was only 58 years old. 

Over 10 years ago, Debbie was diagnosed with throat cancer and was never able to make a full recovery. She had a trach to breathe, a feeding tube to eat and even though she was such a fighter, it was difficult for her to take care of herself. Her daughters &amp; i decided to put her in to a rehabilitation center after years of fighting, to try to get better but was never was able to come home. 

Her daughters Marisa and Brianna and her grandson Jordan, were by her side the entire time along with her brother Eugene, aunt Cheryl &amp; myself. She is loved by so many and this is a very hard time. I’m just asking if anyone can help her two daughters with funeral costs and medical bills to get through this a little easier. 

I met Debbie over 25 years ago and her two girls were so little, I babysat them for years. They are in their 20s and early 30s now and her grandson that absolutely adored her and she adored him. It is going to be very hard for all of us, especially her daughters, and her grandson to heal. She was an amazing person &amp; did so much for so many people. She was still there for people after everything she went through no matter how hard the day was for her. If she knew you needed to talk, she was the first one to put her pain and feelings aside and be there for you. Her faith got her through a lot, all I can pray for is that she is out of pain and looking down on us, giving us strength to go on.

Hi I'm Ally! Honestly I was really hesitant to post this because I want to be strong for others and always stay in a positive light. But with the help of a few friends I realized that asking for help isn’t negative or weak.  I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis one year ago and have been struggling to find a treatment that works for me. Unfortunately I've dealt with not having any insurance to having insurance that doesn't cover all of my expenses. The reality is that the longer it takes for me to find a treatment that works for me, the more risky my case becomes (colon cancer etc.) I've been hospitalized twice in the past 3 months because my symptoms have been so severe. I've barely been able to eat because just about everything causes pain. Before my recent hospitalization, I wasn't even able to drink water without having unbearable pain. I love to eat colorful and raw nourishing foods which my body has not been able to handle for a year and will not be able to handle anytime soon. Now I've learned to associate pain with food because that's just what I am used to. Having the ability to nourish your body should never be taken for granted.  I have quite the healthy history - I had a stroke at 23. Turns out my thyroid disease caused atrial flutter which caused my stroke. Thankfully my atrial ablation heart procedure fixed that. Being that I'm extremely weak now, some of my stroke symptoms have come back. I'm limping again, it's harder for me to focus, and my speech can get a bit slurred. To say that my colitis has taken a toll on my body and mind is an understatement. After enough speech, occupational, and physical therapy, I began to workout and appreciated every second of it. I knew I wanted to empower others and help them become their best selves. Making people feel good is what makes me feel good. Being unable to workout now because of a new health issue has been challenging both mentally and emotionally. For now, my workout is honestly just taking a shower because that's all my body can handle. I also had to put a harsh pause on my fitness modeling career because I have negative energy and am just unable to workout at all. Working as a fitness model was truly an accomplishment I was proud of and it definitely hurts not being able to perform anymore. I can't wait for the day until I have enough energy to jump around set! I don't know how long it's going to take for me to find a treatment that works for me and I definitely don't know when I'll be able to really work again. I'm learning to take this day by day although that's definitely easier said than done. With all of this going on, I am still so thankful that my body is continuing to fight for me and continues to be my biggest cheerleader. I'm extremely grateful for what it's been getting me through. It's a long road but I know I am on the right one and that's what matters. My Ulcerative Colitis Struggle

I don't want to offend anyone but I'm desperate and would be thankful for anything you could give whether thats prayers or a pair of socks. I'm especially grateful for encouraging comments, knowing someone cares about me keeps me going when I can't. My name is Gabriel, Im 25 and ive been homeless for a year and a half. I was raised by my aunt who sold her house and left the state. Around the same time I lost my job and my first car was t-boned. I got a jeep which is my dream car because of insurance, I lived out of my jeep which stopped working a month afterwards with my dog for most of that time until I received my tax return and was finally able to get it moving again. After getting it fixed a friend let me stay with them. My dad and my dog died around the same time, I never knew my dad much and then I had to realize I never would. I had gotten my dog at the beginning of the year before and raised him from a puppy, he was an american akita named Xten and i miss him more than anything. He was with me the whole time i was homeless and kept me going alot of the time, i feel like i let him down honestly. Then I got kicked out of my friends house because of a argument, and later that night put in the hospital with a concussion and broken hand when someone came and punched me from behind at a shopping center. I lost my memory of the last few days and most of the possessions I had managed to hold on to when they left all of my things at a donation box in the rain. My girlfriend, her cousin, and my bestfriend managed to get a few of my things they knew were mine. My girlfriend and her cousin are both amazing people and I wouldn't have made it this long without them, especially the woman who stood beside me even when i was down. My bestfriend got me a job at a grocery store and I eventually managed to buy a car from his parents, the car broke down on me at an intersection and was eventually towed and I got fired from my job. The previously mentioned cousin of my girlfriend purchased me a tent, and I had been living in it and keeping my things there since I started at the job my friend had gotten me. Recently a lady saw me leaving the woods from my tent and yelled multiple times to get my attention as if she was waiting on me and she asked if I had a gun, if I was alone and that she stayed with her dad who she said was afraid, I told her I did not and she had no reason to fear me I was just a homeless guy trying to survive. I went back to the tent late one night to avoid anymore meetings and it was gone. The poles used to hold it up had been broken and thrown aside and besides my blankets, a coat, and one shoe everything in the tent was dragged along with it leaving a trail all the way out of the woods. I've been sleeping behind an empty church for the last few days since this was the only place I could find where I wasn't bothering anyone. I spend most of my time sitting beside foodlion using there wifi so I can do my school work and finish my diploma so I can leave for the army. Everything i own fits in a bookbag, 2 blankets and hygiene products. Im currently looking for another job but had to get a new id, birth certificate and social security card. Recently life has just been getting harder and alot colder and I just want to be able to move forward without having to worry about freezing to death. I'm not only having the crappiest time of my life which has been pretty bad to say the least but I'm now at a complete loss on what I can do to survive and move forward.
