<div>My name is Anna Garzilli. Ive lived in New Jersey the whole 24 years of my life. After my grandparents house was foreclosed on I was put in a position where I no longer had help from my mom or elderly grandfather. I moved into a home with a family where I faced alot of financial, emotional, and physical abuse. I was paying $800 a month for the upstairs of a place i tried to make a home for us. That lasted around 11 months until finally I chose peace and health over a unsafe and unhealthy house that wasnt our own place to call home. We are now staying at a hotel in our town week to week with as much help from the community as we can get. Including food pantries and donations to try to help save what I make at my overnight job as a stocker. My mom helps watch the kids so I can work for time being. I am asking and starting this fundraiser to try and get us into our own apartment in Sussex county, A place we have always called home. My daughter loves her school and this town is so safe. Im trying to do everything in my power to keep us here. But unfortunately there is very limited resources as far as shelters and homelessness help goes. Thank you for reading this all. And if you have any questions or recommendations. Please feel free to reach out to me! My Facebook is Anna Garzilli

<div>Thor is a 4-year-old German Shepherd therapy dog who was raised since birth by Lisa and Steven Klink. Lisa is a special education teacher at Schuyler Colfax Middle School in Wayne, NJ. Thor was trained to be a Seeing Eye dog but that was not his true destiny. Thor was just too social and not quite a match for the Seeing Eye so the Klinks decided to adopt him. Lisa helped Thor to obtain his therapy dog certificate through Bright and Beautiful where he passed with flying colors. Since then, he spends his Fridays with his family at Schuyler Colfax.

<div>Becoming a Certified Therapy Dog was Thor's destiny. His gentle and patient demeanor makes everyone fall in love with him. He is always happy to be at school, with his tail-wagging, making sure he visits all of his friends (and of course getting lots of treats!). He loves getting brushed, having the students read to him, playing ball in the gym, and listening to classroom lessons while his mommy teaches. Thor makes everyone happy and relieves stress for both the students and staff.

<div>Thor has helped so many people over the years and now he needs our help. He was recently diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease and is experiencing partial paralysis that needs to be evaluated by a veterinary neurologist. He will need intensive care, treatment, and surgery. Thor is an incredibly special dog who needs our love and support to help him and his family in their time of need. Please consider helping our sweet Thorkins so he can continue to bring love, joy, and happiness to all that know him.
